Kind of amusing. Crew must be super hungry and thirsty. Anyway, sometimes when I reload a game, the crew will eat and drink absolutely everything in one shot. Not the usual allotment per time period. Also it'll sometimes charge me many many times for their daily wages. I've seen $4000 before. Attached is a screenshot of it. In this particular case it also debited me $3000. Usually I just reload again and it works correctly: no debits at all, just my game the way I left it. This time, however, I got it 4 times in a row trying to reload. I can't upload the save due to forum limits so here's a link to the save file if you want to try and repro it (expires in 30 days). It's my quicksave. I've been getting it by just hitting F9 to quick reload.

I cannot load ANY of my save games it says: --- Loading Error. There was an error loading the next map. Returned to Main Menu to prevent save game corruption. --- I'm playing on: iMac5k 2014, intel core i7 4GHz, 32GB DDR3, Radeon R9 m295x 4GB MacOS 10.13.4 I've tried: Create several new characters, but all the same - I could not load even firs autosave! Rebuild local files. Delete the game and install it once again. Restart machine. But no effect! It's a horrible, when you waiting for the weekeng to play game, but after four hours of play find out that you could not load ANY of your saves... But then even more - you cannot load ANY GAMES AT ALL. Logs and save game in attach. Report.zip

Hi there, I've been unable to continue my adventure with my one character as it seems I'm unable to generate new save files with it. I've uploaded my two last working save files, dxDiag and output_log here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/v0xdcr95od8pmds/Additional%20Files.zip?dl=0 Tripps (DeadfireArchipelago) (af3ddf0e-e257-4986-88d1-afc64e788c1a) (759848251) is the save file I'm currently loading. I've found the following interactions: 1) Loading the save file and then trying to create a new save, only closes the save screen (no file is generated) - no crash 2) Overwriting a save file seems to instead just delete it - no crash 3) I've created a new character and I'm able to create saves on that character. I tried loading to my old character from my new character, but this only caused a crash in the game (see attached crash files) Additional info: I've used "cosmic cat", "cosmic dog" and "cosmic bird" codes on the character that's unable to create save files. I was able to create saves before, it just somehow stopped working today. 2018-05-12_160844.zip

Progress Wiped
Tebius posted a question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Heya all, is there any way to restore some kind of cloud save? I just lost all of my progress, thousands of gold and some pretty damn good cards. =( It's like the Steam and iOS versions didn't play nice and I've lost everything. Help please? -

I have found a working savegame fix the will load savegames and create new working non corrupt savegames This has been tested and working on 3 different machines with 5 different save files myself and have had 2 other friends fix their savegames with this method. First delete the folder C:\Users\username\AppData\LocalLow\Obsidian Entertainment Then delete the folder C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp\Obsidian Entertainment If you have any saves in C:\Users\username\Documents\My Games\Pillars of Eternity Copy them to C:\Users\username\Saved Games\Pillars of Eternity Run the game as admin and load the most recent save Move your char and save a new save. Without exiting the game reload that new save. Save again in the same save. Exit the game. That should work and create new files in LocalLow and Local\Temp Though its probably unnecessary before i exit i save then i load my save and resave the same save everytime before i exit the game now. I have my 60+ hour save now to 85 hours without an issue on multiple machines. Please dont ask questions or expect me to explain this again if it works great if it doesnt or you cant figure it out good luck.
