This happened to me, too. I also did it twice, thinking I was slick to block the priest's view of my pilfering. It's not necessary, of course.

You can set the Toggle Interactables to Tab and this will unbind the Highlight Interactables. Now Tab is a toggle option. I leave it on almost all the time.

Cage Cursor does not always work properly. I have the option enabled but it has only worked one time. Most of the time (3 hours by Steam counting) it has not worked.

I killed the game via Alt + F4, restarted and continued. The cutscene played properly this time.
