I have an Xbox, and imo, the loading times aren't that bad...of course, I'm patient...
The load times in the Xbox version of KOTOR were nothing. If you want a real load screen to test your patience buy the Xbox version of either Deus Ex or Thief III. Both are good games but the load screens were so long I made a drinking game out of them.
Back on topic it would be convenient to be able to level characters on the Hawk however isn't Obisidian saying we will be forced to use all the characters at some point in the game because some missions can't be accomplished without them?

I used Jolee and Zalbaar...with the right tweaks, they are undefeatable...
Yeah I only used Zalbaar, Canderous, and HK-47. The rest of the losers I left on the Ebon Hawk. I liked Bastila but there was no reason to level her up because she would always come back to you from Malak with level one darkside powers which was weak! Canderous though when equiped with Yusanis brand, Cassus Fett's armor, and a Sith regenerator was an unstopable battle tank.

I cant stand phonies and mewling weaklings, which this character will probably be. I just hope i can turn her to the darkside and laugh and strike her down the second she does. Because she doesnt deserve strength.

I am definitely a Star Wars enthusiast I have watched the origional trilogy countless times and have read some of the books and comics. The reason I don't consider myself a Star Wars nut is I have never dressed up as a Star Wars character, I don't collect the toys, and I have never gone to a Star Wars convention or debated Star Wars lore at Bennigans.

I think Hoth was cut from the first game bacause there was nothing interesting there (it is supposed to be uninhabited at this time). After you've killed your 32nd Wampa it begins to get tired.
Well at least you could spell your name out in the snow. Player tip don't eat the yellow snow.

What planet do you think is going to be crappier (in appearance):
Dantooine?
Telos?
Remember, this is 5 years after the Star Forge...
I'm thinking Dantooine because it's not a very populated planet to begin with and wouldn't have the resources to rebuild as fast as Telos. I am hoping that Dantooine is much more like the wild west in the sense it is now a lawless frontier since the Jedi are no longer there to serve as the peace keepers.

It would be cool if some surviving Massassi hooked your PC up with some wicked Sith Tats. Only a Sith or somebody with a Sith holocron would have the knowledge required to do the tattoos.

Stealth wasn't totally useless in KOTOR but the stealth animations were down right pathetic. Stealth was an area in KOTOR that had loads of potential which I hope Obsidian will get right this time around.

I watched Raiders again last night.
I think Lucas deserves credit for what he gave us. He did alot over the years. It doesn't mean that his work is perfect, or that he gets a free pass from here to eternity. He still stands upon a great body of work, but he's also made big mistakes.
Yeah, but there should be a law though that directors can't touch their films once they have gone bat s*** insane like Lucas.

Wasn't this a mark of the ancient Sith? Shouldn't the PC of KOTOR 2 be able to take on the same or similar markings as Darth Maul did? It was stated on the Star Wars website that it was Sith tatoos Maul wore upon his face.

As it was pointed out years ago a "dark" lightsaber woule emit no light because its BLACK, it would be absorving light and it would operate completly diferent that a lightsaber does.
I find your lack of vision disturbing..
Prehaps there is more manipulating this sabers color than just the crystal? Maybe this sabers eerie illumination could be a product of the Darkside itself? Grow an imagination Drakron as stated above in my first post this thread is just for fun!!!!!!
Dereth awsome pic! I was thinking widen the black beam with just a little bit of blue illumination would look cool as well.

The junction system of FF VIII required a good deal learning, it was not bad ... just required people to learn how to use it.
There were some problems with the way magic worked but more because we could not dump the magic we had (except in combat) and were forced to refine it from items or steal it from enemies.

That works for me the only other thing I would need is the option to play strip Pazaak with the hot female NPCs on the Hawk if there are any.
