  1. I read the recent dev blog on the Stronghold and that really, REALLY sounds exciting to me as well.
  2. What do you mean by the butthurt? Whose butts will be hurting?
  3. I'm just curious what parts of this game have you guys the most excited to play and why. It's kind of my easy way to see what this game is all about and how it's going to work while still getting the passion and desire from the community.
  4. The only real interaction I have with D&D is Neverwinter Nights 2. I really enjoyed the ability to create a very nuanced character. But the thing that always turned me off from D&D rule stuff is how you could unknowingly dump points into something worthless. That if you didn't understand exactly how to build your character, you'd never get those Level 9 spells (or trying to create a viable Eldritch Knight). Then I played Dragon Age: Origins and LOVED it - but the skills and leveling seemed so generic. I'm just wondering how this game is going to play in comparison.
  5. The biggest barrier to me fronting the money is that I'm unsure how this game is going to work. Like... Is this a D&D kind of game? Are they making a new kind of... "system" like D&D? The FAQ is pretty blank when it comes to this - do you have any threads you could point me to regarding this stuff? Thanks!
  6. Thanks JC. I'll give it a try right now.
  7. Just another bump...
  8. If i'm thinking in the right spot, you're going on a mission to rescue the two head Ithorians - you do this mission alone. Atleast that's how I had to do it...
  9. Notta prob. Just lemme know if it works for you or not.
  10. I got the same error, but it's not KOTOR II related at all. The Control Center is what you use when you right click on the desktop and go to your graphical settings under Advanced. It lets you set your AA, AF, etc. I just did msconfig in the Run box, went to the Startup tab, unchecked the Control Center boxes and use something called ATi Tray Tools. It lets me set all that and a whole lot more with no more annoying ATi CLI errors. http://www.cfcforums.com/showthread.php?t=12378 A link to download the Tray Tools is in that post.
  11. Must say I'm quite confused. And seeing how many people are having problems and searching to see if mine has been covered, I don't see much help coming anytime soon... But anyway... After the crash cut-scenes load and you have to take out the 3 HK Assassin droids on Telos's arctic region, all my HUD information disappears. Fine before the mission loads, but I can't seem to get it back. I checked to see if I bumped a key, but no go there. To detail my problem, I have a fully playable and clickable screen - the buttons and what-not are there as I can see the mouse change over to the "action" arrow, but I cannot see them - they are invisible. So, I have a full screen game running, but nothing I can see to click on. They buttons and pictures and everything are just gone. As you can imagine, this makes the game quite unplayable. This is the only problem I've had with this game. I'm running an AMD 64 3500+ w/ATi x800 Pro 256, 1024 DDRAM on Windows XP Pro with an Abit AV8 K8T800 VIA motherboard. Soundblaster Audigy 2. Thanks for any help guys.
