  1. Does anyone know if they released the soundtrack to KOTOR 1 seperately to the game. I have seen it pop up on newsgroups and it seems to be excellent quality, it makes me wonder what the source was and if that same source would arise for this game.
  2. I can't see this issue being patched - we are talking about the whole soundtrack being replaced, not gonna happen. The only way is if someone obtains a high fidelity copy and we transplant it in there ourselves. As anoying as this issue is it will be fairly low down on the list of priorities for LA and OE when you look at the raft of issues for ATI owners (myself included).
  3. It makes no sence really. Especially on the xbox version where they had a DVD they could fit it all on. I really don't think this decision was made due to storage concerns - either someone really screwed up and made a big mistake or a bad decision was made from the get go.
  4. Do you think the 4.11 drivers are better than the 4.10s cause thats what I have been using.
  5. I just did some hacking around in the xbox version and got the audio off it. All music tracks are all 48kbps mono (no improvement there) but are 44kHz!
  6. Well why is it writen in OpenGL if its also on the Xbox - surely that means they would go Direct3D for compatiblity?
  7. I was getting a black screen with sound effects everytime after a movie played. The only way I could get around this was to disable movies all together but this solution I don't like. After going through every option I could I eventually narrowed the problem down. The only way it works for me is when BOTH frame buffering and soft shadows are disabled. I can change any of the other options to whatever I want but if either of these are on it causes the problem. This is running on XP SP2 with an ATI Radeon 9600XT, please try this if you are having the same problem and let me know how you get on
  8. I dont even think you want to know how long i have been waiting.. suffice to say over an hour! just red this now so let me get back to you on the tools worked thx <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Rad tools just do playback and conversion outside of the game. So they won't affect playback in game. Good for viewing the movies later but really messes uo the flow of the game.
  9. I have this exact same problem with the 9600XT. Its such a crappy bug, one thing I have noticed which no one seems to have mentioned yet is that at the end of the movie being played the resolution does not revert ack to the 3d one. It stays at the video resolution while the screen is black (plus sounds in background) so it may be that its not switching resolution correctly.
