    What worked for me is to reset my machine - I hadn't done it since I installed the game.

    I had the exact same issue. I have a Win 7 SP1; Asus Notebook N53SV; Intel i7-2630QM 2.00 GHz; 4 GB RAM; 64-bit OS; NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M. Not sure how I would attach the relevant files. Going to restart my system and see if that helps.

Configure browser push notifications
Chrome (Android)
  1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
  2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
  3. Adjust your preference.
Chrome (Desktop)
  1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
  2. Select Site settings.
  3. Find Notifications and adjust your preference.
