  1. Just found another way to gain Mandalore influence: In the flophouse on Nar Shadaa, there are 3 aliens who are the crew of the Lunar Shadow. They want you to go get their wayward captain out of the Jekk Jekk Tarr. If you decide to kill them, Mandalore will say "good that ought to shut them up" and you'll gain influence.
  2. Thanks Darth Sketch... that reminds me: You gain influence w/ Kreia at the blind Sullistan merchant on Nar Shadaa if you can manipulate his droid into giving you a discount (or was it the prototype?) Anyway, she has to be in your party at the time. Unfortunately I can't remember exactly how but the rationale is that since his boss is blind and can't monitor the droid's bookeeping, he won't find out - and the droid really wants that T3 processor so he will agree. Yet another manipulation thing that Kreia respects. Thanks everybody and Boiler for your posts - it has helped tons!
  3. Definitely Nar Shadaa I like how the NPCs carried on the quest without you while you were out.
  4. It sounds like you've hit some sort of glitch Ricc. I'm having the same problem too only because I merely did not happen take the right NPCs with me at the key times I needed them around to gain influence. And on Nar Shadda, there are several places where you can gain influence w/ multiple characters, and if you have two in your party that should react, only one of them will. I later found out that I lost many opportunities to gain influence w/ Atton just because the other NPC I was with spoke up first. I really enjoyed talking to the NPCs in KOTOR1 so I was disappointed to find out, after 30 hours of playing (I tried not to look for spoilers too soon), that I missed a lot of dialogue just because I chose my NPC combinations poorly. I feel like my game is not at its full potential...! *sigh* Is it really worth playing through again to hear more of the NPC dialogue? (spoiler: ?)
