  1. Ok, that makes sense. Just one additional question: Do the items you can create on workbenches differ from the (random) items you may find in the later game?
  2. Dear, this sucks. But i have to admit one thing: In the end Kotor2 seems to be the buggiest xbox game yet. Quod erat demonstrandum
  3. I'd like the starting stats to be like: STR 10 (in the end, weapon is much more important for damage?) DEX 13 (little AC bonus and finesse for decent BAB bonus) CON 15 (i liked implants in Kotor1 and read about some cool in part 2) Int: 13 (Skills seem to rock big time, thus i'd like to have some) Wis: 14 (decent force powers and saves) Char: 11 (there has to be one disadvantage  ) I didn't do the math, it just represents the cway i'd like to have my PC. Though i am not 100% about the class yet. I am unsure between Guardian & Sentinel. With the many feats of the guardian, i could spent them in making repair & maybe computer use class skill. Though wouldnt have too many skills points. With Sentinel, i'd have the points but not that much feats. Consular is no option for me. Pure magic users never were my favourite kind of hero. i simply prefer the 'up-spelling melee fighter).
  4. Sorry, I forgot: 4) PCs can handle bigger areas, sure. But remember Deus Ex 2? <_< 5) Hoods up or down? You are serious? You really think a game is cooler because you may choose how to wear your hood?? Ever thought about playing the Sims 2??
  5. It may also depend on the screen resolution. I use to play in 1280*1024, because of the 'limitations' of my monitor " And yes, by switching the ATi drivers, Kotor1 became more or less choppy. But it never ran fluid.
  6. 1) I had some slowdowns on Taris and especially on Dantooine (Wilderness). I read in some forums, that i was by far not the only one and that it has to be blamed on the limitations of the game engine. 2) Its easily possible to update/patch xbox games via XBL or FTP (for 'special' boxes). Just its not offered too often. An example is that you can download the Space Station from the PC Version for the box as well. Legally. Just check lucasarts. 3) Sure the PC is more potent. But personally, i don't find Kotor 1 which i played on PC to be much better than Kotor 2 on the xbox. But your results may vary
  7. Who cares? I mean, honestly, people play Kotor 2 and have/had alot of fun. This obviously on the xbox. So it seems like a really good game is fun on both, PC & Console. Because its just not all about visuals. I'm often surprised how good xbox games actually look (especially the non-crossplatform titles). But besides, yes, xbox is about money. I am so really sick about having to upgrade my PC almost every half a year these days, just to have a decent framerate in the next upcoming supreme game. Side note: I played Kotor 1 on my PC (2.8Ghz, 1024MB, r9800Pro) and i actually had some some slowdowns and suffered from terrible controls (for the PC). So from part one you can't say it was whole alot better on the PC than on the box. Anyway, have fun . It's all about that "
  8. This is a very interesting concept in my eyes. Just why did you pick Sneak may i ask? And second, do you emphasis your PC more on melee, ranged combat or force powers? Thank you
  9. Err, ok, what is the sense of getting many components from breaking items on the workbench? :">
  10. Hmm If i understood it right, the effort of creating items on the workbench heavily depends on the repair skill of the PC. Can anyone confirm, that items from chars with high repair skill are better (or have respectively more options for items to create)? If so, it'll be the killing argument for choosing sentinel IMHO "
  11. ...on giving LS players bonus on WIS & CHA while DS players get STR & CON? Meaning going LS you'd do best with consular. Going DS you'd do best with guardian?
  12. But that would mean they are more powerful than the other two classes, as Skills are so very important ? Some Prima Guide owner knows the 'truth'?
  13. First: From what i've read, the game is fairly easy, alright, But still i don't like to start over again after 10 hours because i found out that the class combo i'm playing suckz big time. So: What do the owners of the game think, is the sentinel useful to be played? AFAIK the progression is: (Feats - Powers - Skills) Consular: Low - High - Low Guardian: High - Low - Low Sentinel: Low - Low - High Is this correct? Basically i'd like to play a character with many (dialog) options, who is a decent melee fighter as well. As skills are said to be much more important in K2, sentinel would fit me best? Would be nice if someone could share his experinences
