  1. I've finished poe1+wm few days ago, and I've realized that despite long time patching over years, to 3.7 version (!), it still had easy potd endgame, I was mostly autoattacking + sometimes few buff spells. This has made me thinking that it likely will happen similiar to deadfire, even more likely due to open world nature of sequel, which makes balancing more difficult.

So I've came to conclusion I need to use difficulty tweak mod, probably few mods and possibly some tweaks to keep midgame/endgame somewhat clicky.

Luckily there are some good mods for that on Nexus.

  2. This puts me off too

1). It's dampener, tooltip says it's susposed to supress as long as duration is ticking and you're in this area

2). But it simply clears drugs effects permanently/leaving out Arcane Damper area doesn't help, nor waiting for AD duration go off

3). What's the practical difference between PL3 Arcane Damper and PL9 Arcane Cleanse there? They're working pretty similiar

    My suggested fixes:

    - make PL3 Arcane Damper a AoE supressing, not removing permanently

    - make leaving AD area returning back drug buffs

  3. I've been playing berserker/shattered and noticed that it barely generates wounds. My understanding is monk default dmg threshold for wounds is 10dmg, shattered increases by 200% which means you need to deal 30dmg to get 1 wounds.

From what I've observed between game start and arriving to Nekerata, most of time i end battle with 2, top 3 wounds from whole battle, without spending on monk abilities. Meaning I was getting 1-2 wounds from dealing damage in whole battle (since you get 1 wound automatically on combat start).

Character was dealing 20-40dmg consistently per weapon/fist on dual wield.

  4. I have increased font size and the default heights of both dialogue windows (text of person we're talking to + our dialogue options) are too small for my taste - I have to scroll very often, which I find pretty uncomfortable and irritating.

I guess it's not possible to adjust in game settings, but I could poke in game files if someone gives me hint where I could start looking for.

  5. From what I'm seeing, there are more mages in enemy groups and apparently they often cast Arcane Damper, which removes drug effects and puts Nalpazca into subclass negatives + drug negatives.

1). Is Arcane Damper really common spell for enemy in this 1.1 beta? I'm still testing on tutorial island

2). If it's true, don't you think excluding drug effects from being affected by Arcane Damper would solve problem? I don't feel drugs are often used generally and it's just drugs, not spell/arcane effect.

our strategy for patching is to have a week 1 patch that addresses any incredibly bad problems that pop up and need to be addressed ASAP.  the patch *after* that is where i am targeting PotD difficulty increases.

So my bet is balance patch will come in 2-3 weeks after launch. What do you think?
