Nevermind...I found it. Why is it important to go find your 'lost' lightsaber? Actually, you don't go in search of your lightsaber because it hasn't been lost - when you get exiled from the Jedi Order, they just don't let you keep your lightsaber. Sure, you could make a new one. But you're right, yours is special and worth reclaiming... if you choose to. -Chris Avellone

We have increased their effectiveness and upgradeability and have also made them rarer. Creating your own lightsaber is a major quest in the game and a huge accomplishment. That being said, you will have your lightsaber throughout much of the game, but acquiring it is certainly a goal to aspire towards." Where did Chris A. state getting YOUR light saber is possible?
