  1. I expect that if it's ever addressed at all, it'll be in KotOR 3. If they ever decide to make it, that is.
  2. Bao-Dur's stopped creating shields now. Also, something that's really bugging me is the fact that some of my NPCs are earning XP at a snails pace. While everyone else is at level 20, Bao Dur is lvl 18 and Disciple is only lvl 15. This kind of thing is happening in both of my games (with the male, it's affecting Handmaiden, Bao Dur, Mira and Atton) and seems to only affect those that I have converted into jedi (done it with all possible in both saves). On a lesser note, the game doesn't seem to like task switching and there's an item (usually a droid carbonite projecter, but not always) being sold by Kovin that freezes my game in the shop screen, requiring a CTRL-ALT-DELETE before I can do anything else with my computer. Any suggestions, fixes, wisdom, etc?
  3. Almost forgot. My female character is the first PC I've EVER played that has had Bao-Dur create shields. He doesn't seem to want to with any of my other characters.
  4. You can learn it from either one. But the Visas lesson requires a one-time influence check. If you fail that check the first time it will not be an option again and you must learn it from Kreia.
  5. If all of this content was originally intended to have been cut, then OE wouldn't have left all those files for PC users to find. HK-47 was in KotOR 2 because he was the most popular character in the original game. That's why Minsc was in Baldurs Gate 2 for example. It could have easily been a different NPC altogether. Fact of the matter is, it's common business practice to release products in time for Crimbo. That way, your company will make more money out of it as people search desperately for half-decent gifts. if LA hadn't pressured OE into releasing it in time for the holidays, they would have made less money out of the game and that's not how Lucasarts works. People are interested in the missing content for several reasons. 1: There is knowledge about it. With that knowledge comes the feeling that they are missing out. People genarally don't like that feeling and can go out of their way to alleviate it. 2: Economics - People have paid money for this game. Once they realise that things are missing they begin to think that they're not getting their moneys worth. They want to squeeze every penny that they've spent. 3: Fan motives: Fans of Star Wars want to know all there is to know. The craving for knowledge of all things Star Wars drives them to demand that the content be restored so that they can satisfy their desire for it. Maybe GMs who run Star Wars d20 campaigns want some more info on M4-78 so they can include it in their campaigns All of these factors (and maybe more that don't come instantly to mind) will make people try to restore the lost content.
  6. I've got 2 games of KotOR 2 running right now. One male, one female. Both light Guardians. Now the male character isn't getting the option to learn force sight (To Kreia: "What's wrong with your eyes?") while the female is fine (so far at least). Anyone having similar problems with dialogue options not turning up? If so, have you found ways to fix them without starting fresh?
