  1. Ah no, spoke to soon, they are all in a different state of "level up" than when I left them - some are missing some powers, some have no level ups at all. Back to "start the whole thing again" I feel - whatever this data is, it's clearly bad data
  2. And so this morning, I reopened the app, ready to create new characters and start again... ... and my party -the one I deleted yesterday - is back again. So are all the characters. But all the other character slots are empty. So... it's now exactly how I wanted it ! It was just totally counter-intuitive in every aspect of getting there. No idea how my characters persisted when I wiped every single character slot, but looks like I can quest on from where I'd gotten to, so all good. I guess...
  3. Well, that sort of worked... After deleting the party, I WAS able to delete all 24 of the characters. However, none of the advanced characters from the party remained - they all were replaced with "yet another basic version" of themselves (one that had only completed the basic scenarios, and had only 1 extra card feat). In the end I wiped the whole list of them, so at least I have a blank slate to start again from. Man... I really want to like this app, but it's been over a year of bugs and setbacks. Anyway, thanks for the advice, at least I can start again, and be able to pick different characters at last !

I was a prolific player of the game on both my android devices (phone and tablet) up until around adventure pack 4 - after that, the wait for new content made me lose interest and as such I've not loaded it up for several months until today. My phone was short on disk space, so I removed it there, and now I just have it installed on my tablet. I see there are now individual parties - this is great - so I loaded up my favourite party and played a mission. But then I want to add a character, and the "create new characater" button was greyed out. Going into the add existing character, I can see 6+ copies of Kyra and a couple of other characters. It appears in all the various games / challenges I've tried out, I've somehow created multiple copies of some characters. But all these characters have padlocks on them, and therefore cannot be deleted, it seems - the X button is present to delete a few characters who are NOT currently in my party, but the clones of characters who ARE in my party seem impossible to delete? This is frustrating, now I can't create any new characters - I was thinking of trying some of the alt. art characaters now in the store, but without spare slots, it is impossible to create one of them.

I was playing with Harsk (charisma d4) and encountered the Blessing of Iomede (Charisma 4; Divine 5) Having no divine skill (therefore d4), it offered me my charisma check of d4 (at least the difficulty is one lower and achievable - good choice app !) I then played a Blessing of Iomedge, thinking 3d4 would be a better check (as the blessing adds 1 dice, or 2 dice to charimsa checks). But as I played it, the app switched to a divine check, and offered up 2d4 ?! I used the drop down and went back to charisma - preferring 3d4 to get a 4 over 2d4 to get a 5. Looks like some of the auto-selecting of which stat to roll for went a bit wonky on this check?

I encountered the Goblin Warchanter, and was shown my combat check (D6+1) ready to roll, and all my spells locked (I've since realised it's been changed to work better with the app , and I could have used my spells). However I opted to deploy the wand of scorching ray, which allows 4d6 for a combat check. But as I pressed to use it, it ADDED 4d6 to my combat check, giving me 5d6+1 I believe this is a bug, and I should have only had 4d6 for the check?
  7. So I needed to do a charisma check 6 to close the rusty dragon inn. I threw out a guidance spell to help, and then rolled...a PASS The location then let me recharge an ally from my discard pile, which I did. Then I hit the arrow to continue, and had to roll to recharge the Guidance spell, which I did. Then the location let me recharge an ally AGAIN ?! So somehow going off to recharge my spell cards post-closing the location unlocked it's closing power a second time SO MANY LITTLE BUGS

When fighting a spectre, my paladin revealed a warhammer +1 I then thought maybe the warhammer had a better discard power, so I hit the red X button... but the warhammer card did not come back to the paladin's hand. At this point, the dice reset to d8 (Divine) skill, instead of the combat skill which it switched to when I revealed the warhammer. I even revealed a new weapon, and the card overlaid the original weapon. Slightly annoying, the spectre was defeated with the new weapon, but being non-magic, it was shuffled back into the location. The paladin drew up a new hand of cards; so I have no idea where the warhammer went (it was my last turn so I could not check).
  9. Playing the first adventure of the Attack on Sandpoint, and one character encountered Ripnugget. Meanwhile, another character tried to temporarily close Swallowtail festival. This involves encountering the next card (in this case, the last card in the location) which was the half-elf monk lieutenant. The cut scene text played out, and we went into the combat. My character defeated him, which then triggered the option to close the location (which, given it was the last card in the location, was an automatic success). And... then the game moved onto the next players turn - which just so happens to be the character who was supposed to have been fighting the main boss. But wait; what happened to Ripnugget ?! Looks like the game lost track of my combat with the main boss. I clicked to explore, and up game Ripnugget. Again. Didn't see if I lost a turn from the blessing deck from this (I think I did) - nonetheless, I think there was a bug here.

Yep, I had a problem with Lini - reveal the snake animal ally puts her combat to 2d4, activate beast form puts it (correctly) to 1d0 + 1d4, but then discard the snake and the combat drops back to only 2d4 (?!) I then tried to undo and redo these cards in multiple orders to fix it up, and at points it seemed to go to 3d4 - overall it was just broken with the snake
