I loved the first 2 books, but of all the characters in the books, Auri is probably my least favorite.

still im kinda interested because I really liked the other books.

Video game romance is for ***s. Who would give a crap about romance in a video game?

its a story based game. Thats like saying romance dosn't belong in books aswell.

or creating a friendship with digital character dosn't create more immersion, 

 

if you had a romance/friendship with your companion and the game made you choose if she/he had to die or get hurt. would that Friendship/etc. not affect your choice, 

 

ofc. it would, and that would be a good thing for a roleplaying game. 

 

a romance dosn't had to involve you putting your dirty **** into someones vagina. 

 

Its about creating a bond between you and the characters in the game.

Iv seen my friend play around with the backer BETA, and many things the was impossible in IE games can be done in this.

Like wizards in armor, and monks in armor. 

and as far as I understand wizards gets a penalty to cast or recovery? time when casting in armor.

but how does that work for a melee class as fx monk. Does it lower the time between attacks?

and does the dex stat makes you attack faster?.

The romances are a very small part of those games you mention. I don't see how it can be a deal breaker?!.

hey I vote yes for having romances in this game!, if you don't like it, just ignore them. (everyone's happy)

but the deal from what I understand was that they didn't feel like they could do it right, so they skipped it. 

Id rather have cast of well written cast of none romance-able NPC's, than a shallow half ass written romance.

lets say we took 100 healthy random danish people and 100 healthy random people from afrika.

 

the Danish people would probably be better at math, and the African people would probably be in better shape....
