Common practice by politicians. You misrepresent the past(even with outright falsehoods) to promote all the good you are doing, and to show how great things are now that you are in charge.

Battle Brothers, That Which Sleeps, and The Mandate, thought I'm a little skeptical on the last one.

The real question here is. I have not done the Alpine dragon yet so no spoilers but one! Before he was capable of instantly critting someone and killing out right (not knocked out) in one hit? If so that is frightening for my PoTD Trial of Iron run.
No. Gib in PoE refers to enemies exploding in pieces of flesh and blood, when the finishing blow is a crit. The new patch disables this feature on the Alpine Dragon, this being a little silly with it being quiet big, anyway it's a lot cooler to have the body laying there.

We're 850 million and all of the middle east is 400.. If every single man, woman and child moved they would still be a minority. Besides their birthrates are comparable to ours now, so they can't even outproduce us if that's your worry (which it really shouldn't be).
In conclusion: Stop being so dramatic.
Comparable how? Or are you counting your native population birth rate as a collective or your genuine native population. Because last time I looked, the only reason most European countries have a positive birth:death ratio, is because the immigrants have several children and make the overall stats look better.
And where did you get 850 million, EU has about 500.
I get my numbers from the World Bank and UN websites, as opposed to the time honored tradition of pulling the numbers out of your ass.
The UN sets a cautious estimate of the population of EU at 738 million. Source. While other projections are almost a billion when Russia, Turkey and other countries some times affiliated with Europe are counted in, so I went with a nice middle ground.
Do you also need help with finding sources on population growth?
Your source claims that's the population number for the continent of Europe, not the Union.

No love for ixamitl? :'(
I'd like to see more of ixamitl!
I mean, come on, when is the last time you've seen an aztec inspired setting?
Only if monks get a Kano fatality skill.

I have successfully loaded up a game started on 1.0.3 (I'm loading that save on every new patch and resaving it). I run around Dyrford, Caed Nua, did some fighting in Craghold and didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. This was on 2.0, still haven't installed 2.01.

How big needs a smoke get, before people at least gloss over the idea of there being fire?

All was fine until I thought harder on the name I had chosen... and realised that I may have named my male ranger the fantasy equivalent of Kathryn!
Or Kevin...
Is that really better?

Aren't the owners Obsidian? Do they not have control over this IP?
Obsidian owns the IP, but Sawyer is only an employee and is posting on his own behalf, not the company's.

Any word on what MCA is doing after Obsidian?
I'm more curious what Obsidian is doing after MCA.
The tank game, an expansion to PoE. Anything else? Seems like ages since Obsidian made a game I was looking forward to (that wasn't Kickstarted).
Brian Heinz is the lead designer/project director on an unannounced RPG, per Antony Davis.

Those Empire soldiers look really dull to me, a Medieval 2 mod does them much better justice.

aristotleomissis asked: Hi, Josh! I'm greatly enjoying Pillars of Eternity so kudos to you and the Obsidian crew for putting out a great game However one thing that puzzles me (and seemingly other players too) is the lack of immunities, whereby I could kill a fire blight with a fireball or my tiny orlan fighter could knock a dragon prone. Are there plans to include immunities in the expansion?
We discussed the pros and cons of immunities during development of the base game, but we didn’t have time to implement, test, and balance them. Damage type immunities have been added in PX1, with some of them retroactive to base game creatures in patch 2 (the fire blight being one of them)
melnorme asked: So, what turned the tide in favor of implementing damage immunities in PoE? Will PCs and NPCs be able to acquire them with items/spells/etc or is it just for monsters?
Time and the increase of the damage output curve at higher levels. Currently damage immunity is an armor property on certain creatures only. If it becomes a status effect in the future, it could be put on player spells, items, abilities, etc.

If only you did.

That also happens when you order movement to an unreachable spot, or place to which the path hasn't been discovered (is under the black fog of war).

The PC sales seem to be close to 1.3m acording to this article on GOG, and Steamspy.

What if Zerrikanians are also white?

Quality "journalism": "See the guys in armor there? That’s the Enclave, policing who can and cannot get into the vault. Spoilers: most people could not secure vault space...but it’s difficult to feel bad, considering the vaults were actually just glorified testing labs. I digress."

Also, from RPS: "It seems that the Brotherhood of Steel – or some local equivalent – had some manner of foothold pre-bombs here. Are they stopping these poor shmoes from reaching the fallout shelters?"

E3 is coming up, might get some news there.
IGN claims to have confirmed that a Pillars of Eternity expansion will be present on E3 in some manner.

The GOG sale numbers can be estimated using the all time bestselling list, by comparing to some games which have revealed such information. The positions of PoE and some other Kickstarter games are:
247. Shadowrun Returns
334. Divinity: Original Sin
355. Pillars of Eternity: Hero Edition
356. Expeditions: Conquistador
550. Wasteland 2 Digital Classic Edition
PoE and Wasteland 2 have multiple editions which are listed separately. The PoE Champion and Royal Edition are 904 and 949, respectively.
So, if anyone knows a game that has revealed it's GoG sales, we can get some extremely vague numbers.

Divinity : OS Enhanced Edition officially announced. Not playing the game on release payoffs again .

Adra Dragon Scale is part_adra_dragon_scale, the other ingredients are also prefixed with "part_".

The way I see it is that Raedric is a lunatic fanatic who will never stop his oppressive and nasty ways.
The ending you get for Gilded Vale if you side with him I believe proves me right.
He actually stops being excessively authoritative if you side with him. Gilded Vale's fate under him may actually be better than if you side with Kolsc.

The game is also sold on the Mac App Store. However, I expect the number of sales there to be minuscule compared even to GOG, let alone Steam.
Also, in my opinion 65-75% is too low share for Steam. It's most likely 80-85%, possibly even higher.
Obsidian dabbles in necromancy
in Obsidian General

In an interview by Game Informer Feargus Urquhart reveals that the unannounced RPG is in fact Project North Carolina(aka Stormlands), brought to life in a changed form, and it's going to be announced in the coming months.
Here is the reveal:
