  1. Gold limits can be good, but it depends on the way it is implemented. If the vendor have a large amount of gold, and I can sell 'most' of my stuff, then it is a cool function. But if a vendor can't buy enough of my stuff, it gets annoying, the Skyrim/tes is a good example of how NOT to do it.

    So I'm happy it's gone...

I would say IE games did it good, without having the gold limits. Not especially realistic, but for me it worked. I best remember Kuldahar, where I had to sell armor to Conlan (the blacksmith), only Oswald would buy potions, and if I wanted to sell my scrolls, I had to go to the tower and meet Orrick.... Don't know about realism, but it worked for me : )

This is also where we repeat the request of independent sliders for ambience, effects, voices, and music.

This will not happen for the released game, but we will talk about it for patches.

It isn't a simple thing for us to implement, so we have to be careful with it.

Thanks Brandon. Remember the developer commentary's - They are way too low :)

  3. I find it annoying, that I can't drop any loot i don't want. The inventory/stash also need a sorting function.

The volume sliders, most people want to have more options. But it won't be in the release, perhaps the expansion?

I can't run from combat? Don't know, never tried ...

I'm very disappointed with the lack of ammunition. This was a "big part" of the mood in IE games...

The problem with the combat log and other stuff is taken care of by Bester. He made a mod, that can correct all this :)

I'm pretty sure there's gonna be plenty of "custom" portraits... It is a simple process to (for instance) add the IWD portraits to PoE. And it has been done the other way around too original.gif

It would be nice if Obsidian had the time to add more... But they are already working so hard, though ...

The problem with portraits like that is that they almost never fit the style of the game. Even almost 15 years later, I can't find a single good custom portrait pack for Baldur's Gate II that fits the Baldur's Gate II style. The same goes for Baldur's Gate - I'd still be willing to kill for the Baldur's Gate II NPC:s in Baldur's Gate's style.

It's almost as if that's what I said already on pg. 1.

Yeah I know. It will be difficult to find any godlike portraits out there ... But my point was, they exist :)

That said, there are so many custom portraits, that one can use for free... I'm sure SOME will fit for PoE :)
