Early week means FRIDAY

Gold limits can be good, but it depends on the way it is implemented. If the vendor have a large amount of gold, and I can sell 'most' of my stuff, then it is a cool function. But if a vendor can't buy enough of my stuff, it gets annoying, the Skyrim/tes is a good example of how NOT to do it.
So I'm happy it's gone...
I would say IE games did it good, without having the gold limits. Not especially realistic, but for me it worked. I best remember Kuldahar, where I had to sell armor to Conlan (the blacksmith), only Oswald would buy potions, and if I wanted to sell my scrolls, I had to go to the tower and meet Orrick.... Don't know about realism, but it worked for me : )

Thank you, Brandon. Good news

Same thing (problem) with auto-pause on hit.
It is supposed to be when a PC controlled character is hit... Not whenever an enemy is hit ....
So IMO the auto-pause options are pretty useless right now :/

I would like to see Justin Bell in the panel, but I know he is way too busy...
But hey, you guys did great at SOUTH, so I just hope you will have fun, and enjoy...

So I maintain that an L-shape would be the best.
Well, I like the Lshape too. But the very best thing, would be an option to move the gui around, as you see fit.... Then ALL of us would be happy
-
Yes.
That's all I'm going to say
It's good to hear from you Justin, hope you are well... I'm sending all my positive energy to you, so you might overcome all the dangerous tasks ahead

This is also where we repeat the request of independent sliders for ambience, effects, voices, and music.
This will not happen for the released game, but we will talk about it for patches.
It isn't a simple thing for us to implement, so we have to be careful with it.
Thanks Brandon. Remember the developer commentary's - They are way too low

I'm a bit behind current events, is the solid UI going to be a toggle, or will the game just completely switch to solid UI?
There is a toggle in the menu

I find it annoying, that I can't drop any loot i don't want. The inventory/stash also need a sorting function.
The volume sliders, most people want to have more options. But it won't be in the release, perhaps the expansion?
I can't run from combat? Don't know, never tried ...
I'm very disappointed with the lack of ammunition. This was a "big part" of the mood in IE games...
The problem with the combat log and other stuff is taken care of by Bester. He made a mod, that can correct all this

NO DUCKS???
Ohh my ...
What about ...
COWS??
I don't care about horses ...
-
2) Probably in the expansion

I'm wondering why we have to scroll through both male and female portraits?
Anyway... A grid solution has been suggested, I hope it will be discussed by Obsidian, but I don't think we will see any changes until the expansion?
-
So before I click that and waste an hour of my life... how spoilerif is it? Since I hear some conflicting issues about it.
Note this is coming from the person who knows basically nothing about GTA V's story waiting for it's PC release to get in without any pre-knowledge...
Very spoilery-ish

I'm pretty sure there's gonna be plenty of "custom" portraits... It is a simple process to (for instance) add the IWD portraits to PoE. And it has been done the other way around too
It would be nice if Obsidian had the time to add more... But they are already working so hard, though ...
The problem with portraits like that is that they almost never fit the style of the game. Even almost 15 years later, I can't find a single good custom portrait pack for Baldur's Gate II that fits the Baldur's Gate II style. The same goes for Baldur's Gate - I'd still be willing to kill for the Baldur's Gate II NPC:s in Baldur's Gate's style.
It's almost as if that's what I said already on pg. 1.
Yeah I know. It will be difficult to find any godlike portraits out there ... But my point was, they exist
That said, there are so many custom portraits, that one can use for free... I'm sure SOME will fit for PoE

True - well there are things much more important than portraits - so i prefer that they improve other aspects of the game, rather than "waste" time at portraits xP
I think portraits are pretty important

Cool tread
I think the PoE combat will be alright, but there's a lot of finetuning to do
-
Aaah. And here I thought it was part of the engagement mechanic. Anyway, they should get rid of it. It's annoying.Well, it is an option in the menu. Just turn it off
-
Yeah...
We need MORE sliders....
I want a slider for the Developer Commentary. Currently those comments are way too low in volume, and the sfx are drowning the comments, they are on the SAME slider

HI Guys. Can someone post the twitch stream on youtube.
The reason is our internet sucks and I can't even load the video... twitch doesn't have any resolution settings to view it unlike youtube.
Here you go:

It looked great, loads of spoilers ... Unfortunately the sound was crap. I bet I'm gonna have nightmares about giant crickets.
Anyway... It was very interesting to see the stronghold, Od Nua, and Defiance Bay. Interesting conversations. Fun to see Josh play on hard, (and get lost in the dungeons)... Good job
