YES! Level 16 did the trick, got the achievement and cut scene. phew!

well, i think i figured it out - with a mod i've got i'm killing The Messenger too quickly so I'm going to try disabling that mod, running around levelling up, then try again jlee do you still want me to send the save files?

i went exploring thinking maybe if i levelled up a bit it would work - let me just go back and try again, if it still doesn't work where do i send my save file to?

Did you kill the creatures that pop up during the fight as well? Every hostile critter needs to die for the quest to advance, including the ones that join in as The Messenger gets to Hurt/Bloodied/Near Death. yup - ima keep trying. apparently there's a cutscene? maybe multiple times will be the charm

trying to figure out what i'm supposed to do with The Messenger. i've tried talking to him but he just goes into attack mode i've tried killing him but the steam achievement doesn't pop up and the quest doesn't advance? help?

When this is fixed will it be auto-given to those who have completed it or will we have to do it again? You can just load up your save I guess. I never understood achivements.. its some new generation gimmick to pad people on the head. But to each his own ah i love achievements. makes me feel like i've done something. yeah a pat on the head i had a thought that i might not have gotten the achievement because i sided with Aeldys instead of Furrante so i tried again this time on Furrante's side but still no luck. Maybe because i'm on story mode? I dunno.

is there a list anywhere of the map locations? almost at the end of a second play through and I've been everywhere I can think of/find - but if I've missed something I'd like to nip back and get it before I delve into Sun in Shadow
