None, i would hav to say.

 

I hav never seen a jedi use an offensive power. If they did, would they really be jedi. Things like force wave for example, were universal or neutral force powers.

 

Besides, with master speed and heal, for defence, do jedi really need all that offensive power.

Think about it, if Revan and Bastila hav a kid, they get an emotional attachment to it.

If Revan or Bastila, or the kid for that matter, is killed by say, a sith. The survivors out of the 3, will most likely seek vengeance, which will evetually lead to the darkside.

If u hav any of those 3 darkside, especially Revan, it wont be good for the jedi will it.

I came into the rant thread, and discussed the topic at hand.

 

I didnt go into the lightsaber thread and as an aside mention "EVERYONE WHO IS BOYCOTTING TEH GAME IS GAY" or other such nonsense.

 

You dont have to like what I say, but at least I say it in the right place unlike many of you.

This thread is not an extrension of that...if all of you cant understand that, I'll try to use smaller words. This thread is to state that if you hold that opinion, great. But dont ruin every other thread that comes up by steering the convo to that topic. It's annoying.

no people...let's clarify...in the threads about the delay, I expressed my opinion that you should all get over it. I never said they werent the right place your you to whine like 8 year olds.

 

What I'm saying is, that it's a pain in the ass when every thread gets derailed into the SAME topic, brought about by the same people that seem to take every chance to try and remind everyone that they think LA sucks and they wont be playing, and why.

Since the Sith Lords seems to be following KOTOR's path with staggered release, why not follow it even further and give the PC players extra content such as another trade area like Yavin or maybe returning to Yavin.

 

 

Lets just say i aint gonna wait for 6months just for a tiny amount of extra content. Until feb yes, because that was the original release date annouced, but not 6months.

If they released the first game simultaneously, then sales would most likely be a lot, and i mean a lot, more even between PC and Xbox

Thats what I found most distasteful letting the hype around the possible dec release spiral out of control, and all the while knowing it to be impossible  if they had made it clear from the beginning that there was no chance I wouldn't have been bothered at all.

They only see what is best for making money, and in this attempt to make money, LA little gamble doesnt look to hav paid off, though i am drawing that knowledge from these forums.

 

(Edit) the calender thing could well hav been true. I aint saying i is, but it could hav been. Remember mst developing houses r often in different countries, and will most likely use different calenders and timetables to ur country

Well despite LA lies, i am still getting the game for PC. SImply because, well, look at the name, u get the idea.

LucasArts never shot down that rumor either. That rumor was circulating for a good 2 or 3 months, and all LucasArts had to do in one of their dozens of interviews is say "that's just a rumor. the release is still scheduled for the original date of feb 2005". Companies ALWAYS shoot down rumors they know to be untrue. But LucasArts, despite being mentioned NUMEROUS times to them that there's a rumor for a December release, said nothing to the contrary. Explain that one away.

 

Best guess is that they used the rumour to increse they hype over KOTOR2, and gain extra publicity.

Us PC user may not get much, if any, extra content, but at least we get better graphics and resolutions (though it will most likely be unnoticeable at best). I am glad for that, if nothing else because of the delay/original release date, whatevr u want to call it.

The main problem is the spolers that will be posted.

 

The moderators cant delete evry single spoiler. My suggestion is avoid the internet for dec until feb.

 

Either that or the moderators create a special forum for the Xbox users where they can discuss KOTOR2 when they get it.

 

Even then, Xbox users (not all, just some) will still post spoilers in other threads.

Perhaps it would be if LA wanted it to be, but MY point is that the original release date was feb 2005, and is the release date most people expected, despite the rumour of a december release.

 

So lets be thankful that we are indeed getting KOTOR2 on the date that was originally anounced.

 

We each hav our own opinions, i stand by mine, u stand by urs, so lets stop arguing and forget it. At least we will eventually get KOTOR2
