(It's also getting close to my bed time. :3 ) Yes, in principal a pledge can end with a 5 or a 7, so it would be possible to get an 8 at the end without pledging 8 for the Obsidian Order. I would think that Obsidian will just check that there is an 8 at the end of the final pledge to confirm OO membership, but they might also check that there is a full $8 over everything else asked for. Of course, if they do, then the pledger loses his or her title and gets exposed as a cheating d-bag as well. I've got a feeling that the honour system will probably keep this nice 'n' friendly. Haha, yeah, pretty much what I was thinking. Getting called out and stricken from the records in front of all of us pledgelings would be pretty embarrassing. (I'm sure they'd check for the full eight dollars after all. I mean, they don't have to do it manually for each pledge, once the surveys have been completed and all deductions made, they can use some automated system to check for them liars, should they exist.)

I don't think you have to worry about that. They'll see the amount you pledged, any extra dosh you handed out for extras that will be on the survey, plus the extra $8 you pledged for the title. I kind of just realized that this can be exploited,,, but I wouldn't worry about that kind of thing too much, it is only eight dollars after all.

Yep! I heard from Darren himself on KS that Fionavar will be taking care of your titles so you've no need for worry! Ah, but this is no invitation for you all to start spamming his page with pm's. Like Sugarjaye says, we should all just practice a little patience, and appreciate the fact that there are many more joining the order as we speak. Just imagine managing and adding all of us all the while more and more people are joining the order... huehue I'll try to take over, but I need some time. I'm at page 5. I wish you luck Caretaker (Fionavar too), it's certainly a large list... :3

Also the reddit page was locked I think. Personally I like when a game company is bold enough to try something different. Aaand, I hope someone takes over dlux's role soon... People who pledged after me have gotten their titles whilst I forever remain as (0) nub. Not as climactic as the name I intended, ya' gatta admit :U

Hail bretheren! Henceforth I shall be known as 'Grand Einherjar, Royal Vanguard of the Obsidian Order'! Or at least I'd like to be. I hope I'm doing this right, haha. (I added the $8 to my pledge on kickstarter and there weren't any other pages I could find to learn more about this, so... :3 )
