  1. as long as it is still up on their site it is still open. Planetary Annihilation had theirs up for weeks after the kickstarter closed. As far as receiving money as long as people are willing to give, it makes sense to keep it open atleast for a little while longer. And as long as the backer amount still adds to the mega dungeon... i am all for it. especially considering i trust obsidian to put all the money into the game. So more money = better game

  2. Just wanted to know how frequent everyone would like updates considering we were getting some kind of an update about once a day or so, which was nice but i guess is probably unrealistic now that the kickstarter is over and they will be focusing on the game now. Personally i would still like to see updates rather frequently, like once a week or so. Just to stay involved in following the process of the game being made.

  3. Dont know why but i enjoyed the mega dungeon the most as a stretch goal. dont know if it was just getting to see the new level in the updated picture everytime we accomplished one or what but something about it made it intriguing and more active with the backers. Felt like there was something that we could do just by spreading the word and not even spending more money... refreshing

  4. Something that set Torment apart – we had a good chunk of the story, dialogues and the flow of the narrative laid out before production began. This was key. If I had the power and funding to sit down for a year and script a spiritual successor out, then we built from there, I would do that, but that process is something no publisher would agree to – you're constantly under the gun, either as an internal or external developer (Josh Sawyer had to write the Icewind Dale 2 storyline over the course of a weekend, for example – he did a great job, but that's not an ideal way to write a story). Generally, you have two-to-four weeks.

Chris said this quite a long time ago. Makes me even more excited for PE seeing as they have a very long time to develop the story for this game. I'm really looking forward to Sawyer's works.

didnt you just say you didnt like him lol

No! I said that down there.

Not sure I like Chris that much

Gotcha, no worries. I just found it funny
