Agreed hence why I want them to at least say they are going to do one or say they aren't. I seriously wouldn't mind giving them a few hundred dollars if they started one up. Granted my parents are pissed as hell but it's still my birthday and they would understand that at least.

I mention that in the second sentence. I would find it hard to believe they would come out and say they aren't doing one after all the hype they caused by even mentioning it. Still I would prefer them to say they are going to do one later or not at all so I could decide what to do.

I don't want you guys to rush this but I say this because my birthday is coming up on April 2 and I would gladly give up my birthday present (I asked for a new TV) to donate that money to a kickstarter by Obsidian. I would ask my parents to not get anything just in case but so far we don't even have confirmation that you guys are even going to do one just that there were talks about it. Sorry if there's a ton of these scattered all around or I posted in the wrong forum.

Well they have said they were still talking about it. Odds are they have no idea what they would do with it and are trying to figure out what would be the best to try kickstarting. They can't just put one up saying "give us money and we will think about making a game". I never really played Wasteland but hey if chris likes it and it's that good why the hell not I'll put some money down on it. I'm still waiting with baited breath for Obsidian's Kickstarter though. Also a quick idea if any of Obsidian reads through this since you have a lot of people who have been lead designers on other games why not try having a kickstarter for both of them at once rather than just pour a few million into one game when it could be split into 2 piles of over 1 million each for 2 different games. Just a thought if there's enough programmers, artists and etc to do it.

Honestly I would prefer something new and completely unlike anything on the market like many of your games but I trust you guys to make the right decision so if you do this you have my money no matter what choice is made. EDIT: Also a bit of advice I would wait until may at least if you were going to do this at all. Between Tales of Graces F< Mass Effect 3, Xenoblade Chronicles and The Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition for Xbox 360 RPG fans will have a lot on their hands and may heavily decrease how many people will invest in your kickstarter. This is all hypothetical granted but still I do think it would be smart to wait for people to not have so many releases coming up.
