I think that if you work to be more grateful, it forces you to pay more attention to the positive aspects of your life. By doing that you would be naturally less inclined to dwell only on the negative and would thus be a happier person. Just a non-scientific logic based guess... -
Now I find myself debating.... One more hard apple cider or just go to bed because I have to work tomorrow

What did I do today? I went to work where I wrestled a pit bull, was attacked by a feral cat, was cussed out by someone who thought their bill was too high, drank too much coffee, and ate a chocolate chip cookie. Then I came home and starred packing for my move. I am currently trying to convince my two puppies that MY bed is not for them to wrestle on
