I received the deed for taking at least 100,000 points of damage called enduring champion and didn't get the trophy?! Has anyone else had any problems like this in ds3?

I'm just wondering if anyone knows if enemies level up as ur character does? I'm pretty sure regular monsters don't, but do the bosses? I'm near the end and I'm trying to level up to the max and I'm wondering if its gonna make my last boss fight easier or harder?

I really like this game. I think it has a good story, cool graphics, and a cool fighting system. My major gripes r the game is way to short!!! I could see this game being awesome if a bit more was put into the game, more story , more places to go like different towns ans sidequests. You get soo much loot and it all pretty much looks the same, there r very few rare weapons n armour! Leveling up is annoying, after u have been to a place only a few monsters come out and they r weak n it makes grinding extremely tedious!!!

So I tried 2 fight the dapper old gent 3 times n got pretty close twice! Any suggestions or advice to beat him?!
