  1. I think the developers of Grounded 2 should add the Goliath bird-eater spider as a massive late-game boss because it would fit extremely well with the game’s expanded survival mechanics and larger backyard. The Goliath could be significantly larger than the Wolf Spider and axl the tarantula, requiring players to use Grounded 2’s combat system, perfect blocks, dodging, and weapon abilities to survive. It could have several unique attacks, including lunging bites, powerful stomps that create an area-of-effect shockwave, and a web attack that temporarily slows players or prevents them from using their mounts. During the fight, players could target specific legs to stagger the spider, creating openings for critical attacks. The boss could also have a second phase where it becomes more aggressive and starts using its surroundings to ambush the player. To make the encounter feel like a true Grounded 2 discovery, its arena could be hidden deep inside a massive burrow around the pond, because in real life the spider lives in swampy wet areas, so you can put it near the pond in a burrow. This would give endgame players a difficult new challenge while making exploration, preparation, mutations, equipment choices, and teamwork even more important.
