    A strong modding system can definitely keep a game relevant for years, but I think Obsidian's biggest strength is still its writing and world-building. Hopefully they get enough creative freedom to make the next Fallout feel like an Obsidian game rather than just another Bethesda-style open-world title.

    The abyss update really shows how much care the team puts into every detail. Obsidian and Eidos Montreal keep raising the bar with each patch. Excited to see what's next!

    I’d love to see Obsidian explore a new region like the Midwest or Texas. A post-Fallout 4 setting could also give them plenty of freedom to create fresh factions and stories.
