Hi Obsidian team, First off, really enjoying Grounded 2 in Early Access so far. I'd like to suggest a graphics option that I think would help a lot of players, especially those on mid-range GPUs. Currently the video settings only offer a manual Resolution Scale slider and an Anti-Aliasing/Upscaling quality preset (Low to Epic, using TSR). What's missing is a proper Dynamic Resolution option tied to a minimum FPS target. Since the game is already built on Unreal Engine 5, it already has native support for Dynamic Resolution working alongside TSR. Many other UE5 titles expose this as: a toggle for Dynamic Resolution, a target FPS field (e.g. 60), and the engine automatically scales the internal render resolution up or down each frame to hit that target, with TSR reconstructing the final image. Right now, without this, players have to manually guess a fixed resolution scale that works for the average case, which means either wasting performance in light areas or dropping frames in heavy ones (e.g. combat, base building with lots of objects, or dense foliage areas). A dynamic system tied to an FPS target would smooth this out automatically and make the experience much more consistent, particularly for players hitting CPU/GPU bottlenecks in busy scenes. Would it be possible to add this as an option in a future patch? Happy to help test it if there's a beta/PTB build. Thanks for all the hard work on the game!
