  1. Check this video out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2qAaZUEeu8 Is that the problem you have? If so, you're not the only one. I didn't find a solution for it nor did any dev respond on my topic.
  2. So I've found out it is caused by FRAPS because I only encounter it when recording. Any suggestions? How can I fix it so I can record that part?
  3. Well then, that leaves it to only 1 suggestion I can think of - clean your PC. Open the case and blow the dust out... our you could take it to a service and let someone do it for you Also, check if all the fans are working properly and if not, get new ones. Something is preventing them to work properly and that's either dust or they are just worn out. Good luck, mate!
  4. Bump again. Please, I want to fix this :[
  5. Have you by any chance tried recording while this thing happens? Because I was trying to record this part of the game with Fraps and now that I tried playing through it w/o recording I managed to get past that point where it happens. Still, I'd like to see a solution, because I want to record some gameplay...
  6. It must be overheating. I've got no other explanation. When you touch the PC case after it has turned off, is it really hot? Also, what are your system specs?
  7. So no bluescreen, no nothing? Might want to give out more information as to what happens...
  8. OS: Windows 7 Processor: AMD Sempron 3600+ (2.00GHz) Graphic Card: NVIDIA GeForce 9400 GT -- Current version 275.33 (up-to-date) RAM: 3GB Playing with the lowest game settings @ resolution 640x360 (old processor as you may have noticed). Anyway, as I mentioned, I didn't have this problem before. I played through the whole game twice now and I've had no problems whatsoever...
  9. Hey guys! So I've played through the whole game twice now with Reinhart and Katarina but I've never encountered this bug until now. I started playing with Lucas today and after a few hours I've came across this horrible bug which I just couldn't fix. Basically, the game screen turns to a solid color (depending on the area I'm in, I guess). For example - brown or green. Also, the game starts lagging unimaginably. I've tried everything I could think of and nothing managed to move this bug out of my way. I have recorded this bug and uploaded a video on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2qAaZUEeu8 Any suggestions? I'm all out.
  10. And that's one of the reasons I don't like Steam...
  11. Are there any other suggestions? I'd love to hear some more feedback :]
  12. I played through the demo and my impressions are mainly from that, but also including what I've seen in trailers and previews.
  13. Hey everybody! I just uploaded my first "video review" and it is, as you may have already guessed, for Dungeon Siege 3. If you are able to spare a few minutes, you can check it out on YouTube: If you enjoyed it leave a comment on YouTube and like the video if possible. Any suggestions for future reviews/commentaries are more than welcome, so don't hesitate to share your thoughts! PS: I know that my microphone is just horribad. The audio quality is definitely not the best, but there's pretty much nothing I can do about it at this moment.
  14. Sorry for the double post but I am going to **** my pants. I restarted my PC and the game ran! OMG KILL ME NAO!
  15. @Sannom I've seen some topics about this on Steam Forums but I don't know if they found a solution. You should check if they found a solution there.
  16. Well I guess it's from my CPU. It's working on constant 100% when the game launches. I guess I'm off to the shops then. Thanks for the help!
  17. Checked the file integrity, played around with the config file and still no change. Any other ideas?
  18. I've got 3GB RAM. And I'm aware that my PC is quite old. I'll try to get a new CPU by the end of this year since I'm having a lot of trouble running a fairly good amount of games that were released lately. And could you help me out, by setting your in-game settings to the lowest possible and sending me the config file? If not I'll try to do my best with the config file, since I'm unable to get to the menu of the game...
  19. So the demo that I've been waiting for came out today and I was super psyched about it, and just couldn't wait to try the game out... but apparently it just won't work for me. I don't know the reason (I hope it's not my old-ish PC) but I just feel torn apart. I've been waiting for this game for over 5 years (since I first finished DS2) and after all this time I can't believe I won't be able to run it. My PC specs are as follows... OS: Win7 x32 CPU: AMD Sempron 3600+, 2.00GHz GFX: NVIDIA GeForce 9400 GT So the game basically keeps on "Loading" after I've started it. I start the demo, the intros for SE and Obsidian play and it gets to the part where it says "Loading..." and shows some tips which change every few seconds. And it loads and loads... and loads. And I just feel so sad while I keep watching it loading... I tried every possible solution I could think of, but if you guys can think of ANYTHING that can help me out to play this demo, feel free to contribute by writing a reply! If you need any information about my PC or my settings please ask! With a broken heart, ~ArcticFroggy
  20. Welp, I dunno about you but I have not been able to get past the "Loading..." screen. SE and Obsidian intros play, I get to the "Loading" part and it just keeps on loading forever. Doesn't work on my laptop either (won't even run at all). PC Specs: Any help would be greatly appreciated...
