From what I recall, it takes place in the dark ages and then in modernish times. Never got a chance to play it, so I can't say for certain though.

Game crashes to the desktop when I enter into a new area. According to the crash report that is in the Bloodlines directory it has the (number)mp3 listed as the fault. According to Planetvampire usually when that happened you need to copy over your Sound directory over again. Bad install I guess. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ack Well, that shouldn't take too long... right?

Hey, additional question: Has anyone around here played VTM: Redemption? I picked it up right before Bloodlines was to be released, but never got a chance to play it as my old comp died about that time. Anyone know if it's any good? ....now if I could just remember where I put it.

5 bucks or less? probably. I'm still not sure about it though... but then I'm getting kinda tired of fantasy games. Gimme more games with vampires and werewolves and flamethrowers (w00t)

How good is this game compared to say.. morrowind? I mean, I know Mkreku goes on and on about it, but I rarely see anyone else praising it.

Ya know, I can't think of any characters in that game that were flat or uninspiring. Some were weaker than others, but overall they were all well done. Plus fantastic voice acting.

I'm curious too, I've been interested in this one.

I couldn't help myself The only characters I really liked were the Anarchs. " LaCroix annoyed me, the Kuei-Jin seemed to have an agenda, and the Camarilla... meh. :D Hey... that brings up a question: Who's everyone's favorite characters in this game? For me I'd have to say Jack, Damsel and Nines (in that order)

Oops, missed one. I couldn't find a way in, so I just "invited" myself :D Things went downhill from there. Why not ? I couldn't find a key I figured the main bad guy fo the area had it... which he didn't... and 1 minute wasn't enough time to search for it. It was a bit tedious, the bugs made it annoying. I had a bug with the tremere fight that caused his spells to keep working even after I killed him. He wouldn't "poof" for some reason. The other was a lockup. Hades' mileage may vary Well, I can see why someone might have problems with it. And I can see Hades point about it not being killable being an annoyance. In the PNP I would have been able to off it... maybe... if I was lucky... reaaaaaaaally lucky. Actually, taking it out with a door would have been easier in the PNP too... now that I think about it. The only characters (well, Brujahs and Gangrels actually) that I havent tried... " I'm looking forward to trying a Tremere or Malkavian... not sure how I'll approach it though... I got reaaaaaaaaaaally used to Celerity. Thats where I ended up in my first game with a Malkav without any special combat abilities I actually reloaded an earlier saved game and decided to side with the superior forces then :ph34r: <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yikes I can understand that, after dying about ten times I was tempted, but I decided to perservere. Hey, how is the Kilmatic? I never picked one up as I really don't like the rapid fire weaponry. Is it easy to control? As for the game itself, I think I'm going to play another round in "me mode"

Day 7 - Spoilerific FAN-tastic game (w00t) Finally finished it, that Kuei-Jin was a pain I can't imagine what it'd be like without Celerity... maybe a full flamethrower would help. By contrast, the Sherrif was surpisingly easy. I sold everything I wasn't going to really use (weapons wise) and stocked up on blood (which I was out of at this point) and ammo Loved the ending I got. Jack and the Anarchs for the win! (w00t)
