Unfortunately no fix has been found yet. Something interesting happens though - if you have Inez stuck in a "conversation" with Milverstreet, and you go to the female scientist that is trying to tame the Raptidon and talk to her, Inez pops up again behind you and starts walking towards the building with Milverstreet. If you go there and kill him before she reaches him, she'll suddenly pop up behind you, with her back to you, and if you talk to her, she'll act as if you've already recruited her, but wants nothing to do with you anymore (because of the murder), and after the end of the conversation attacks you.

I've seen quite a few people experiencing this crash when going in and out of the ship after Inez reappears and is unresponsive, however that's not the case with me.

Unfortunately, after Inez has her conversation with Milverstreet, she just sits there and repeats the same line of dialogue, there's no way to have a proper conversation with her to recruit her.

I too am having issue with Inez. At first, she didn't appear in the town hall (where Milverstreet is). I followed the advice I found online to backtrack from the MoA to Fairfield, but didn't find any drones to kill. However, I went into the large barn building, talked the to female scientist, then as I was heading out, Inez popped into existence in front of me. I followed her to Milverstreet, they had a conversation, but then nothing is happening, she only repeats one line of dialogue, I can't have a proper conversation with her.
