Already set at 100GB in Nvidia App/CP since mid/late August. I've been using that Shader Cache size as one of the recommended troubleshooting "fixes". I continued to have the GPU dump crash outside of 577.00 until the latest 0.2 update (along with 581.42) on the 7800X3D/5090.

Crossplay crashes PC to Xbox

If you need another PC Game Pass player to join your hosted session, I would be willing to help. Message me if this is something you want to do. I am US Central region. -
Yeah...... For reference, I am using Epic preset settings (3440x1440p ultrawide display) but with Render Scale set to 66% and FRL at 120 also. It is still somewhat irksome as I cannot maintain 100fps+ but I am thankful it at least is stable at this time with an... acceptable... balance of visual quality and performance.

Ugh, sorry to hear. Seems like there is still some stability enhancements needed. Whatever the reason, the title (which broadly extends to many recent UE5 titles) is a bit of a lottery when it comes to stability (and performance).

The issue appears to be resolved on my 7800X3D/5090 rig. I can't be sure if it's the latest NV GR 581.42 or it was the 0.2 Update. Either way, was able to play two quick sessions yesterday and today without experiencing any GPU Crash dump errors.

Seems to align with my experience. 1. Primary , consists of 7800X3D on a MSI X670E Tomahawk with a MSI 5090 on a 1440p ultrawide monitor. 2. Secondary, consists of 7700X on a MSI Pro B650-P with a Zotac 4090 on a 4K TV. I did a quick test some time ago with the earlier 580.88/.97 GR drivers to see if I can replicate the GPU Crash Dump. Was able to load a Shared World save and play for a bit without any crashes. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If I recall, you were running ok on 581.15? Even that version stopped working for you? I submitted dxdiag and several dump files when 581.15 was current but... since this is an early access game, not sure how much prioritization Nvidia will devote to investigating the issue. driverfeedback@nvidia.com I haven't tried playing in a couple weeks - mostly because we have completed all the available content but also because these stability issues are game breaking.

Yes - tried the DDU Clean Install and various other troubleshooting tips from posters on this thread and elsewhere. Avowed (another Obsidian UE5 game) runs fine so the issue seem to be confined to Grounded 2.
-
On my 7800X3D-5090 rig, none of the 58x.xx GR drivers work. The only NV GR driver that does is 577.00.
-
Really appreciate the regular updates - I'll base my NV driver update strategy on your go/no-go verdict. If you don't come post a follow-up "hey, it's still borked", I will update to latest NV GR driver in a day or two.
-
That's unfortunate - it would seem that anything newer than 577.xx branch are problematic for some number of players.

Just adding to this thread in to say that I also experience these crashes. Some mitigations that seemed to help somewhat are: - GPU driver (Nvidia) - revert to Game Ready Driver 570.77 - Shared World - have another player in the party Host the game and Join the shared world. Note: I still experience the crashes sporadically but at least I am able to play and make progress.
