  1. Yeah, very SLIGHTLY different ways. Ultimately it always came down to either sneaking past enemies or shooting them in the neck. It felt more like they made a corridor, then dressed it up in some building textures, rather than that they started off with a whole building and then closed off parts of it.
  2. Uh, yeah, I guess ME2 was linear in much the same way, yes. How is that relevant? It's not an argument about whether or not AP is better or worse than ME2, but whether or not it's a game that could've been much better(and less frustrating) with a bit more playtesting and effort. If it influences your reply to me, though, then I found ME2 to be less frustrating than AP, but to ultimately still have a lot of the same sense of: "They just didn't TRY to do this better." With ME2, though, I think it was more that they had some basic design/concept issues that were burdening them, while in AP it was just a matter of polish, really.
  3. The problem with AP was never bugs, it was numbers. Everything was there, really, they just needed to jiggle a few numbers, like accuracy, enemy health, etc. and maybe make the level design less painfully linear. Then it would've been a 10/10 title, instead it feels like one of those games where no one working on it actually PLAYED it before it went gold.
  4. Wow, how depressing. Work on a bunch of rare technical issues instead of tackling gameplay issues that a LOT of people had.
  5. I rather like AP, or rather, I want to like it, but there are two things that always bug me immediately after I leave Saudi Arabia, namely: Every enemy promptly grows a skull made of solid steel and half the game's minigames become almost-unbeatable(without EMP's). Almost all of the hotwiring ones become absurd 12-wire ones, and I can only beat half the hacks with EMP's. I heard that the minigame difficulty is somehow related to how many AP I've earned... is it possible to, uh, tune down how much AP I get/have? Because really, I'd love to get my hack and crack on, but I just can't beat half of these goddamn things. The issue with the enemies is that, yes, I'd love to be stealthy super-agent, but when a fully-charged crit sneak shot to the head barely even takes them down to half health, then what the hell? I'd like to be able to use my pistol for something WITHOUT needing to also employ Chain Shot(as cool as it is). Is enemy HP growth also related to how much AP I have? Because honestly I kinda prefer the Saudi Arabia level of stuff, even with the less skills and gear I have.
