Today's Game Informer says it's due to release this summer.

Ok I just read the newest Game Informer which had an article about Ds3. I am so disappointed in what I read. Here is a quote "Obsidian has a lot of polish work to do - and it's not a studio known for smooth, bug free games". It also has support for 1-2 players in multiplayer, which is just you playing one of the AI characters. Please Obsidian Developers listen to this plea. Give us 1-4 player multiplayer. Give us Character Creation. Allow us to play with each others Created Characters. This is 2011. 1-2 player is pre-Nintendo 64 era. For the love of god even Everquest: Champions of Norrath could do 4 players. Take your time. Take until Christmas of 2012 if you need to. Make this a 4 person game. Make Character Creation. DO IT. EVERYONE ON THIS BOARD PROTEST THIS! No serious RPG players will want to play multiplayer. Why would I play with someone else and get their character higher levels and gear instead of playing my own? NOONE will. Do you expect girlfriends and grandmothers to play the multiplayer? Noone else will want to play with me because they have their own characters to level. Why would anyone play a character for any amount of time and not get to keep any of the gear or get any of the experience for their own character? You would be better off making this a single player game than give us what I see right now. I am so excited about this game and I want it to be amazing. Please do not fail me. Please.

I really wish Obsidian would step their game up and get some real information out. What are the classes? What are the skills? How does multiplayer work? Give us something. I hope to high hell this has a create a character and that multiplayer games are not just me joining my friend in his campaign and only having the option to play as one of the scripted characters of the game.

I didn't even notice that. It's still the 3rd source stating that it's a March release and 0 saying otherwise.

I know just as much about this game as I do about Dragon Age 2, which is a Q1 release.

Why hasn't Obsidian posted this or any other game related information on the official website or on the forums? 4 months from the projected "release date" and yet we really know nothing about this game other than what we saw at the Comic Con. I want to be excited about this game but it's turning into Final Fantasy 13 Versus the way they don't release anything.

What stage of development is DS3 in right now? I just don't see this as being a reasonable date for release. Some questions I also have. 1. What are the classes? 2. When will skill trees be released? 3. What is the max level? 4. How will the trading of loot between players be handled? 5. Is there a personal stash or bank for items? Most importantly, is this bank shared between your characters?
