okay, I did something which seems to have shaved a couple seconds off of the lag, despite the lag still being very noticable... I have an nVidia 260M card, so I went into the nVidia control panel and set the settings for High Performance vs. High quality, and I also turned of the nVidia Physx GPU Acceleration... then I went into the shop in AP and the wait time is notwmore like 7 seconds as opposed to 10... its still annoying, and maybe a fluke, but its sorta nice... not sure how it affects actual game play yet though EDIT: Gamepaly remains unaffected, still major lagging when entering a new room or when in a gun fight, which is kind of a bad thing considering thats a majority of what you do in this game

MarteenDee: I tried all the fixes in post #20 and all that happened was it made the shop window and equipment and inventory screens completely white http://yfrog.com/mi28023556p (when I go to change Mikes hair, the screen looks similarily white and poorly shaded) Switching between items on the same list has become quicker, but switching lists and buying items still have extremely long wait times. Also, in-game lag occurs, possibly at an even more frequent rate (every time I fire a burst from my AR, the game stutters) It is almsot to the point where I'm goign to stop playing this game, which is a shame because the story and characters are all very interesting (I really like Sis and that russian chick with the SAW Machinegun (don't know her name yet))
