  1. Agree. Though i couldn't play it for a long time (XP Runtime Error, darn it, Vista saved me ) AP is great, I don't care about "criticism" (honestly, many bad reviews are written by action fans or even worse, ). AP deserves a sequel, no matter what. So at last I say: Thank you, Obsidian! Your games is what rpg-fans need.
  2. Thanks. Unfortunately I don't have GPGNet so it won't help. Anyway I'm glad that worked for you.
  3. Can you tell us what you uninstalled? My friend has F3 and AP, everything works fine...
  4. I've tried everything mentioned in this topic (well...in this forum... even in the web... including SEGA FORUM topics). Nothing could help. Reformatiing, reinstalling Windows is not an option. After activation I got Alpha Protocol (not Steam) Application wouldn't start XP 32-bit SP3 HOME Edition, GTX 260, drivers (any, I have many of them, can't help), physX (any), DirectX 9.0 c (any versions) 3200 RAM, Core2Duo etc. Other games run well, no bugs, glitches, errors... the only thing that refuses to start is Alpha Protocol. Well... I spent 3 days to avoid this error. Even tried to use crack (shame on me, but it was the last attempt to try): the same error. My friend launched Protocol on 9600 gm, Vista 32 bit SP 2 Home Premium notebook - activated and played without any errors. He enjoys playing, I am wrecked. To Obsidian guys What should I do? What's next? Buying new computer? Installing new Windows? There will be no patch? To guys who solved the problem, in STEAM too (by reinstalling DirectX, Microsoft 2005 C++ etc.): What version of PhysX, DX, C++ helped you? What Windows versions do you have, Service packs... I really don't know what to do. I think I'm doomed to miss this game (which seems to be great from what I saw). And F: New Vegas... I hope when released it won't crash in such a way, at least I won't to have a look at the game on my monitor, not at the damn error.
