  1. Both Crude rope and silk rope only cost 1 resource to make but lint rope costs 3 to make. This makes building with the new burr floors prohibitively expensive. On a good run you can get 30-40 lint which makes 10-13 lint rope, which only makes 5-6 full burr floors. This in my opinion is far too little for what is one of the most limited resources currently in game. I suggest that lint rope only cost 1 lint per, like other ropes.
  2. When crow feather roofs were first added, the flat roof version had a flat mesh so you could walk on it like floors, which is what I used it as, because we didn't have any cool floors (now we have burr floors). Sometime since then there has been an update to the mesh and now the ridges on the sides of the feathers, the shaft of the feather and the rope binding in the center have mesh matching their visuals which means when you use them as flooring you constantly bob up and down, especially when you walk in the middle of two of them. This obviously makes them rather annoying to use as flooring. That's why I suggest reverting the mesh to when it was flat OR add a crow feather floor/carpet which has less holes in it and flat surfaces.
  3. Maybe a "sleep till morning" extra option would be nice. I like being able to go to bed right at nightfall and having 1 or so ingame hours to prep or get some distance to make the most of the daytime.
  4. Not sure about armor repairs as i dont seem to have a problem with them, but for weapons i have only used the quartzite upgrade path and so i only need a f*** ton of quartzite which i can easily get 100-200 per run through the abandoned ant hill and the red and hill. quartzite respawns every couple days so i just do a quick run to stay topped off. if you use any of the other upgrade paths, i don't know what to say to you aside from oof.
  5. i personally use meals for health regen as they heal you for the entire time they're active. Then for quick healing i use beefy "Smothie?'s" super easy to make and a decent chunk of healing to boot. but i do agree that bandages are entirely obsolete once you unlock muscle sprouts and smoothie stations, which can be done very early in a game.
  6. Currently on 0.12.0 Public Test - 3552 to 3555. When you have multiple of the same meal in your inventory and have said meal equipped on your hotbar and you use/eat it, the game eats your FRESHEST meal from your inventory every time. This can obviously be annoying when you have meals with differing levels of spoilage and the game decides to eat your freshest meal first, cutting your adventure/harvesting time short and potentially leading to spoiled meals. I propose that instead of the above happening, when you use a meal from your hotbar, the game prioritizes eating the meal CLOSEST to spoiling. Nothing major but I think this would be a nice quality of life change.
  7. When i first started the play test i absolutely agreed with you, i HATED the scarabs, but after realizing you just have to walk and shoot them (a level 7 crossbow, crow hat, crow arrows, archer perk, one shots them) and that yeah, the most valuable item in the game should be hard to obtain, i started to appreciate them a lot more. I will say that their detection range is broken rn, if one of them is down in the ravines and you stand above the ravine, they will detect you and flee, even if you're 30-40 away from them. quick tip for hunting them, 1 always spawns in the shieldbug area and due to it being an enclosed area, its a near guaranteed twinkling shell as long as you dont mess up. think they respawn every 3-4 days
