  1. Basically, it's a nice utility for establishing a water source but it degrades as you fill it with drops and an increased capacity to 5. Could be amazing if canteen+ wasn't 4 already and most people are water sustainable quickly.
  2. Well heres the thing I find fascinating too from both a theme and gameplay standpoint. Why wouldnt the kids upgrade their armor with superhero like active abilities? I should be able to create a clover poncho upgrade that makes the armor a glider, batman style. The Roly poly armor could have been given an active immunity shield. The bee armor could have BUILT IN Shinobi sneezes which let's be honest no one uses at the moment so the codes there just throw it on bee armor which is the armor you want for ranged kiting anyway right. The spider armor should have an activate poison ability where your weapon doesn't matter and you choose when and where you activate the poison instead of a proc. Ant armor can be changed to allow a worker or soldier ant pet while worn as a possible upgrade (maybe paving the way for pack mule ants and tying into that pheromone system hinted in notes) Passive upgrades are fine as an upgrade pathway but we should be given some agency to apply certain upgrade kits to armor sets that cater to playstyle builds.
  3. He's right GRUB HIDE is a bit much, can you give us Insect leather instead of forcing THAT particular bug? (Or ok, don't add a new item this late in the game just let us throw insect parts of any variety into the grinder and get leather scraps, easy, that would even let us trigger payback events more frequently and lead to a better gameplay loop while we farm) Many of the same bugs drop acid glands and I'm easily sitting on 230 of those by accident, why shouldn't the first level be this easily accessible. Quartzite for the weapon can be found everywhere so should level 1 upgrade. Berry and pupae I'm fine with the costs of since you can exponentially speed up quantity for time with enough buildings. Also he's right about the canteen, if you want to add durability for it that's fine, go ahead, can you make that durability only trigger on picking up dirty water and NOT Dew Juice Soda. Breaking the canteen filter shouldn't remove its functionality either, if the filter doesn't work the container still does.
  4. So this could be possible with the objects in the game currently, if in the future when the charcoal chunks become more plentiful we could use burned out charcoal as a carbon paste together with a canteen+ to create a canteen that we can use to filter dirty water.
  5. What do you guys think about using the weed killers spout to fill up ant eggs like a bratburst, creating a weed killer smoke bomb that you can use to remove the exploding fungus spores/insects?
  6. I would like to see bosses that are large enough to require base building traps or fortifications to help defeat such as a snake in a garden or a squirrel in the tree for instance. Potentially having to funnel the animal into a dead fall trap that requires hundreds of pebblets or something that the boss must trigger to be damaged as our weapons are too insignificant to defeat. The Koi fish and the bird could potentially serve as bosses like this as well where we need to have the animal consume bait that we've laced with spider venom In order to begin doing damage to them ultimately felling them using nets/traps/ballista styled building weapons and proper planning. I could see a situation where we have to run down the raven constantly feeding it venom laced grubs in order to get a huge payout while protecting ourselves from being harried by its attacks by retreating into mushroom bunkers we've placed around the combat area until the venom works its magic like a survival timer.
