  1. Not sure if you're still trying to get this to work, but if you have a multi-core processor, you might want to try this application: http://www.kalme.de/index.php?option=com_c...4&Itemid=35 It worked for me with the same problem.
  2. Ok, I think I've fixed it! It would seem the problem was actually a multi-core processor problem, not a Vista one persay; There is a handy little program at: http://www.kalme.de/index.php?option=com_c...4&Itemid=35 Called 'ForceCore' that seems to force windows to run the App on one processor core. And it seems to have fixed everything; I'll report back later if I have any problems
  3. Hi folks, I just got my copy of KotOR 2 this morning after playing KotOR on steam. However, all attempts to run it on my machine so far have failed; at first, I had the "There was a problem with this application" problem, but the MSS32.DLL fix sorted that out. However, after that, I can see the intro 'movies' (i.e. LucasArts and Obsidian's logo clips) and briefly see a splash screen before it goes black (with a star wars cursor) and the program crashes with a new "There was a problem with his application" thing. I've tried the MSS32.dll fix, the SecuRom exe fix (someone had a link on here), reinstalling with the administrator and compatiblity options, etc, etc. Frankly, I don't know what to do. I also have the 'your graphics drivers are out of date' thing with my nVidia driver, but thats about up to date as is. I've tried disabling movies too, but that just speeds up the process by taking me straight to the splash screen for the few seconds before the crash. I would like some help please, as I don't trust the LucasArt's 'help' to do anything. Edit: Oh, and I tried patched and unpatched too. Not noticable difference. ------------------ System Information ------------------ Time of this report: 9/24/2009, 11:48:33 Machine name: DOUG-PC Operating System: Windows Vista
