Just using your example which one is very clear! Should I follow the same idea with a range caster? I am not expecting to get any hit... however, when I receive it. It is better to have bigger chance (RES) to avoid it instead a big HP pool with less chance to avoid it? I am not saying to drop CON to 3 but try to find a balance between RES / CON with a little more points in RES Your previous example was very clear

I am very confused... I usually read in this forum outside from tank.. lets imagine a Support/Healer or DPS (caster) even DPS front line.. people on this forum say.. High Con is better than RES and they usually say dump RES (3) because it is a **** attribute for not tank character. However you are saying CON is not better than RES, why?

I always have doubt with CON and RES.. On some posts people say.. Reduce your RES and put its point in CON because RES is a sh1t attribut. Because is better to have a big HP pool than extra def. What I usually do is.. Range (mages, hunters etc...) = Res 3 and use its points in CON Mid Range Con 13 > Res 6 Front Line Con max > Res 10 Tank Con max and Res Ma

(turn-base) Apart from the Fighter there is an alternative way to play as a SC tank? I was thinking about Range.. but it seems 2self-buff and then auto attacks. Also, I was checking the Wiz as a main tank but.. it is just buff + buff X 100 and auto attack as well. Any recommendation? I was thinking about Paladin

Hi guys... I know the Chanter is a very slow class but... I find the Troubadour veeeeeery slow on Turn-mode. Everything is more expensive and if I have brisk on I only get 2 phases / turn it means I need 2-3 turns to cast something. In other words, I cannot get it off to get 2 chants at the same time.. otherwise, I will never cast anything.. I understand Troubadour is a really nice sub-class on RTWP because you can turn on/off in the middle of the battle and you don't really miss the benefit of 2 chants at the same time.. because you don't need to wait for turns..just seconds. I am thinking to swap my Troubadour to Skada in order to have cheaper spells and the chance to get 2 chants running all time (almost all time) Am I doing something wrong with my Troubadour on turn-mode? :S

Hello everyone again! I am working on a healer/support build as a single class Chanter (Troubadour) I know it is not the most optimal option a healer vs Druids or Paladins or even multi class, but for now I would like to give a try a single class and I love challenges and off meta builds. [Turn based] STATS >> Human: 19/9/3/16/18/12 BUILD >> Image attached below.(28 points as a single class) WEAPONS >> Sasha's Singing Scimitar + Ench: Refreshing Finale https://pillarsofeternity.fandom.com/wiki/Sasha's_Singing_Scimitar >> Lethandria's Devotion + Ench: Sheltering Light https://pillarsofeternity.fandom.com/wiki/Lethandria's_Devotion ARMOR + RINGS + TRINKETS >> No idea, I am open to suggestions. 1) Did I miss something? 2) Any suggestion or feedback? 3) In which scenario is better to have Brisk Recitation on? I know if I turn it on I can get phases faster but I lose the chance to have 2 phases running at the same time. Again I am not sure when I should keep it on, in which scenario? I guess if I really need some phases back and I don't have time to wait for two turns it should be on, but again I am not sure, any light here? 4) I was thinking maybe for this build is better option Skald over Troubadour.. but agian, what do you think?

Hello again... New days and new doubts... I'm really doing my best to understand the Druid (lifegiver) and the game mechanics...but I still with doubts.. 1) I am playing with Turn-base option (I prefer this option). Also, I would like to play without multi classes at least for this run because I would like to understand all the class/spec and the full potential before jumping to multiclas. However, if you tell me a multi class would be a better option.. I could consider it but... Ideal I would like to avoid this option. 2) So, how I said before I am playing with turn base it means the Dex is not as important than in real time. However, how less important is it for a druid (Lifegiver)? Should I leave it in 10 points and spend the extra points in the other stats? Or should I put some point in dex to keep casting my spells before the enemies in each turn? 3) I have uploaded a picture showing what I find useful form the support/healer point of view and what I thinking to take >Healing stuff< They mainly come from the lifegiver spec. I've added Beetle shell, to have a kind of ST "healing" when the AOE healing is not needed and if the ally already have a hot running give the chance to hit it twice. I think the big Druid (lifegiver) lack is the ST healing. >Utility stuff< Some steps reduction, blindness and anti healing >DPS stuff< When healing / buffing is no needed I have added some nice RAW dmg to do (because I will have not a big penetration) I couldn't find anything useful, did I miss something? Maybe Tier 7 the buff that gives extra def to everyone. 4) Which form is the best.. I understand cat is useful in REAL TIME but.. in turn base is it the best option? I understand as a Lifegiver you are not going to jump a lot in form.. just in X moment.. because you have a big deff after two turns. I am all ears, any tips are very welcome. Thanks

Hi guys again What is the difference between Moon Light and Moon well? They look like the same spell with a small difference (extra def). In other words, when should I use Moon Light and when Moon Well? I am playing in Turn mode.. worth to put some point in Dex? Or should leave it in 10 and spend this extra 5 point in Might Might: 12 Con: 13 Dex: 15 Preception: 9 Intellect: 18 Resolve: 10

Quick question... With double weapon (Kind wayfarers) is better Eternal Devotion or Shared Flames ? which is better for a support/healer paladin? If I use eternal devotion.. my first hit will heal X but my second hit will hit X+bonus? Also, a general question. I am playing using turn base (I love turn base games more than the original version) how important is the Dex in turn base?

Quick questions 1) are multiclass better than single class? I only can see people speaking about multiclass or both option are viable? 2) I can see every new tier (row) in the Druid talent tree I have a new AOE healing, is it not too much healing skills? Also, almost all of them seem the same = AOE healing + X (Somthing else. I have tried chanter and pally as a support/healer and to be honest pally has less healing skills but I feel I am doing the same with my druid with less. 3) Also if I have a new healing tier in every tier... I cannot spend the "plant point" to use DPS skills otherwise when I will need to heal I will not have any plant point because there is anyway to get some point back (without external resources) 4) is it me or the Druid passive are the most bland ones Sorry, I am very confused about the Lifegiver design .. should I auto atack and just use my palnt point to heal with the same AOE healing skills with differente name and differen numbers?

Cool thanks.. I am going try all the skills and see which is better to do some dmg.. Which started skill do you recommend me to pick up? Because I will not able to reset it later... at least I didn't find anyway to change the first skill and passive chose in the character creation.
