Just loaded it up on today's update and it worked! Stoked to play my first character again! Thanks to everyone at Obsidian! Love you all!

I'm having the same issue. Transferred saves from PS4 to PS5. All saves are on Tartarus, but when accepting the option to load into the ship with any of them I spawn about 335m from the ship and free fall forever into a black abyss. My wife tried on her saves as well and same issue.
