Yesterday we finally did it. I tell you how we did it.
If your friend doesn't have the "Grounded windows 10" folder:
On your friend's pc:
- Create it next to the "Grounded Windows 10 Exported" folder.
- Your friend has to export a game of his own that will appear in the "Grounded Windows 10 Exported" folder with a long series of numbers and letters.
- Copy that entire folder into "Grounded Windows 10" folder.
- Inside that folder you have copied you will have other that starts with ID- and a series of numbers, those are the saved games.
On your pc:
- Now on your computer, delete what you have in "Grounded Windows 10 Exported" folder
- Enter with your friend the multiplayer game you want export, place both inventories in a basket or a box, save game and export it * (read end).
- Go to your "Grounded Windows 10 Exported" folder, you will have a folder with letters and numbers, inside that you will have an ID-xxxx folder, this is the save, is the folder that you have to send to your friend.
On your friend's pc:
-Your friend, WITH THE GAME CLOSED, will have to put that folder you sent him with the other ID-XXXX that he has in "Grounded Windows 10".
- Now he can open the game. You have to note that just before reaching the game menu a window will appear saying that is doing something with the saved games, that means is working and your friend only have to search for it between the saves and load it.
All of this only has to be done the first time, then the games are being overwritten without problem, they always keep the same ID-XXXX.
* It only has 1 error, whatever the character you choose, the player who loads the game will have the inventory that the last host had. The solution: before saving the game, place your inventories in a basket or box, that is the way nobody loses anything, whoever the host is.
I hope it helps you. It is a lot of text but the following times it is very fast.
