I think we got a new patch today and the game has totally crashed. I cannot use any of my saving files.. game freezes every time i try to load a file...

The game has been running fine so far and i have enjoyed it enormously, I personally didn't mind the loading time, although no ideal it does diminish the amazing game play... However, this week i started to get the message 'there was a error loading the next map, Returned to Main Menu to prevent save game corruption'... I had to try several saving files until the game allow me in (usually losing a few hours of game play). Today I got into the game and I realised the game was updating itself, and I thought great they are trying to fix the issue... the update done, I tried to get in the game, and to my surprise the game has totally crashed: the continue and load options in the main page take like 5 min to upload and when I click continue the game does nothing..... I tried different saving files and had the same result.... Can anyone help?
