  1. Well about exploration , the thing is the wasteland doesn't look like something 200 years after a war, more like 20. Overfilled with everything. It's like you're the very first scavenger that looks around the place.

  2. Everyone who liked JA2 should make the jump to Silent Storm and Sentinels pseudo-sequel. Unless the one thing in JA you liked was the funny 80's action movie setting.

Erm no. Better to stay and play Ja2 mods. SS is good, but it's nowhere near Ja2 unless the one thing you like is better graphics.

and no Crash girl, because the comments i got on BP http://www.ja-galaxy-forum.com/board/ubbth...e=1&fpart=1 didnt really point out anything that good.

  3. We've already seen a couple Russian attempts at Jagged Alliance. They all turned out horrible.

Horrible? Flawed yes, but not horrible.

I don't know using the FO3 engine has to do with making a good or a bad game either. It would be interesting if someone starting putting out some Jag 2 type mods for the game.

As far as engines go this thing is crap, even all the "horrible" russian Ja2 clones had better engines.

And Ja2 mods? Ja2 is merc with personality and exceptional combat. Where can you have that in Fallout 3? o.O

  4. With me loving the XCOM right now, some JA2 might be good times too haha. Is there a Steam version? I suspect I'll not be able to find my disc around here

http://www.gog.com/en/catalogue/ this one is cheaper that steam version, and mods can be used as well. I'm pretty sure there were some complications with Steam version.

Strategy First is now in a lawsuit with the second developer they hired to make JA3. They already canned the deal with the Hired Guns teams because they weren't happy with the quality. It's a shame, because they had some of the Silent Storm folks and I believe they were using the SS engine. A Silent Storm version of Jagged Alliance could be a fairly solid game, but it looks like it's in limbo for the foreseeable future.

Strategy First wants to make use of their Jagged Alliance property, but they are cheap and keep trying to hire Eastern European development houses to make it. Maybe someone will come along and buy it from SF, but with the genre pretty much dead I don't think we will see a quality attempt anytime soon.

They're not cheap, they don't have the money to do it. They never did.

  5. And where the heck is my NOLF 3 Monolith???

I don't believe Monolith have the rights to NOLF. Of course they could always do a "Project Origin" and just make a NOLF-like game, but Contract JACK didn't go down well and I'd be surprised if they suddenly went back to that franchise after all this time.

A " Project Origin" is the easiest way to a new NOLF-like game, but it's never going to happen. :/

  6. I have to rewrite 20 pages of my 40 page paper and have it ready by monday when i have an oral exam on which the 3rd question will be about what i wrote in the paper. I'm also sick and my knee hurts like hell.

And all the manga and online and other comics and anime and ever other entertaining thing i watch/read seems to be really interesting right now so i can't stop concentrate on anything.

    Other than that i'm fine.
