KOTOR II Hates Intergrated Graphics Cards(And apparently the best and most effective solution out there, is to buy a new computer or an older graphics card )

For some reason, even if your system meets minium requirements, KOTOR 2 usually does not work on an Intergrated Graphics Card(Join the club --__--# ) Solution: Buy a new(as in an older one) or find(buy) another computer to play it on!(Helpful right?/sarcasm)

I think having cyborg parts to the extent of Grevious would be extremely cool. Though some of these cosmetic effects should affect gameplay approiatly. Like once you become a certian percent machine, you can no longer utilize Force Lighting. If you have a robotic arm, then maybe you should have increased strength or accuracity(Stability while firing). And other such things as that.

Well Perhaps they should put a large obvious warning on the box or something. Something along the lines of "DOES NOT WORK WITH INTERGRATED GRAPHICS" even if your system more than meets minium requirements.

Where the heck can you find a 30 dollar graphics card? The cheapest one i've ever seen is 200 bucks Also, I'm not sure as i'm a new laptop user. But can you even put in new graphics cards into a laptop? I bet if you do you have to get it done by someone as they would have take the bugga apart which i think would be different that a 'regular computer'

So in short i'm basically screwed unless I can dish out more excess cash that I don't have? Great...

If they make a KOTOR Pay-per-month MMO I would not play. Not cause i don't want to, simply cause I can't afford to, I was barely able to afford to buy Guild Wars And I stiill got to get Never Winter Nights and all these games my friends keep talking about. Also that means I don't play Pay-per-month MMOs at all. In fact the only one and probably the last one I ever played was Eve Online, which was for about a year of intense budgeting before I finally had no choice but to stop playing. So yea I hope they make the THird KOTOR a non-mmo RPG ^_^

If I remember correctly from what I've read, if Lucas dies, it all dies with him. Also, I do alot of forum roleplaying so i actually have a Star Wars based character i'm working on Its obvious what i'd write about htough if anyone here knew me that is XD Mandalorians, balance(not good not dark, balance like Revan) and the Taung(the orignal mandalorian species) oh yea I htink a force senstivie mandalore(taung even) leading the Mandalorians back to former status in the galaxy would be epic =P

I already dealt with the ms32dll problem, in fact it kept telling that i had more missing files, so eventually i did a few other things and i ran it as adminstrator again and it let me reinstall the game again. I think my stuff is 'intergrated' not sure, i'm still very unfamilar with windows vista espiciallly right now, missing XP alot.

You couldn't pay me money to go watch that movie. as for the hutt things, from what i've heard, rip Jabba. If i remember correctly(and according to one of my friends)before this movie it was cannon that Jabba was already alot older than a baby. So yea if that baby hutt is jaba, then Lucas arts strikes again. With a character there just to be an icon to make money and such. Though personally I always enjoyed ja ja binks XD As for obsession with stuff. There are plenty of people who can relate, I can. though i have no clue what causes it XD I'm obbsessed with Star Wars(or was. there's only a few good quality things left in the series) Warhammer 40000 Halo

Personally in my opinion KOTOR 2 was better than KOTOR 1. Kotor 2 had more character development, the gameplay was more entertaining to me thank KOTOR 1. It was deeper and it made you think. It really needs to be finished, i've been so pissed all these years that they had to rush it, cause Lucas Arts really did damage KOTOR II's title by cutting the deadline. The thing about number 1 was that it had the problem that in my personal opinion is the overall problem that star wars is becoming. Cliche, Absolute Light and Absolute Dark. But it has the most 'balance' alignment character ever, Revan. So I wasn't particuraly fond of its endings(Though the Dark Side one, with that shiny mandalorian armor on was really really cool looking ). KOTOR II was left very open ended and they really need to take all the feedback and things that were done wrong in both games and give the KOTOR franchise the fully glory it deserves, this should be done with KOTOR III RPG. I'm opposed to an MMO about it, because I'm afraid that it won't turn out right or that it will get less involved less personal and won't be like KOTOR and the influence system, in the sense that every lil thing you did 'echoed throughout the universe' and caused all these things to happen and change(Which is why KOTOR II is my favorite game ever) I don't understand though, why a KOTOR III hasn't been announced or done yet. I don't think it would have a problem getting people to buy it, it has a large enough fan base. From what I've read Lucas arts has said they want to make a third title in the series as well. So if anyone has any insight into that that'd be appreciated. Also i'm opposed to an MMO as a third game in the series, not an MMO that takes place in this time period of the Star wars universe. It'd be kinda neat to have a MMO in the events before KOTOR 1 with the mandalorian wars and such.

I'm having the same problem as the guy who started this thread. Cept I use vista. My graphics driver is up to date and meets minimal requirments. I turned off the videos, sound and lowered the graphics settings to minimal. Still doesn't work.
