I fixed the problem, I just went to the lucasarts site and downloaded the two patches, that's the main thing it solves...

I installed the 1.0b patch and it completely sorts that problem out that I had... However... The game runs really slowly and sometimes freezes for a second and then moves me forwards loads... It's not very enjoyable to play atm to be honest... Can anyone help me please? I just bought KotOR on PC and it lets me install etc, when i come to play the game, I get as far as creating a Character and then it has the opening movie. Then the screen freezes black and the sound loops over and over, the only way to deal with it is a hard shut down... Ive heard people mention a crack but where do you get it and what do you search for? Im new to PC games so Ill pretty much need a step by step or something... By the way Im running XP...
