I'm experiencing the same issue with my razer imperator mouse. I've become extremely cautious before clicking in dialogues but it still happens randomly. Been re-loading so many times already because of this issue... it's really annoying. One dialogue where it happened more than 5 times in a row was that of Xoti making advances on me... had to re-load again and again just to reject her.

I finally managed to get Aloth to +1. Took me "only" 24 hours and re-loading conversations numerous times to test which answers resonate with Aloth. As someone suggested in another thread, I'd appreciate more accurate info on the approval of companions. The way they currently display approval is too ambiguous and not transparent enough.

Yeah, I second that. If they display a value to measure approval, people expect it to be accurate and unambiguous. After 24 hours of playing I finally managed to get Aloth from zero to +1. Now I'm walking on eggshells to not trigger him in a negative way.

In my game, he approves / disapproves in conversations occasionally but his approval rating is stuck at zero (after playing for about 20 hours). It might be possible that his approval is just building up extremely slowly but others who somehow managed to get it to 1 or 2 have reported sudden drops to zero. So sth seems to be off one way or the other. Unfortunately, there's no official info or acknowledgement about this issue yet.

I'm among those who are stuck at zero approval. No matter what I say, Aloth's approval rating of the watcher doesn't change in any direction. After hours of trying to find out whether it's a bug or not, I feel like I'm wasting my time with this so I've stopped playing.

After 15 hours of playing, Aloth's approval is still stuck at zero for me as well despite me trying everything to charm him. At this point, I'm reluctant to continue playing since I don't know whether it's a bug or if he just takes longer to warm to you than the others. I don't want to find out late in the game hat all my efforts have been in vain due to a bug and I need to start over.
