Holy Radiance feels like a much smaller part of a priest's arsenal than in POE1 anyhow. Possibly because there's no longer any talents to modify it and all of your other spells are per encounter now, but I find myself forgetting I even have it sometimes in Deadfire.

I totally agree. I just figured a mod would be more realistic to ask for at this time. I was hoping for Darcozzi/Magran though myself, because fire is fun. I also think it can be interesting playing a character with conflicting feelings and dispositions from a roleplay perspective even if it's not going to be maybe the most optimized build mechanically.

My first character was a single class paladin that I intended to use SI with. I ended up restarting on potd because veteran was too easy, but my plan was to use a chanter with "Old Siec would not Rest" and maybe also "Mercy and Kindness" to just lifesteal my way through the damage, plus a priest for backup. I think it could work.

Would a priest's Withdraw save you from the damage?

Can anyone tell me a little about what Carnage does and doesn't do? Does it spread debuffs from weapon modals like mace armor debuff, axe bleed, etc. Can Carnage crits get Skald phrases?

Did you test which passive you benefit from while using the armory, dual weapon or two handed? Maybe even both?

Cool. Do you know if it's a percentage of base weapon damage only or is it damage after modifiers? Or does it scale in some other way?

Anyone test whether you get double the bleed?

That makes sense. I was just hoping it was comparable to the priest's spiritual weapons. I had envisioned a paladin wreathed in flames and swinging around a giant sword made of fire

Eothas priests get Firebrand? I don't see that listed anywhere.

Oh I've seen that as well, but I was wondering if anyone had opinions on Firebrand specifically.

Don't have beta and never tried Firebrand much in POE 1. Is it worth multiclassing, say a fighter or paladin, with druid mostly for Firebrand? Doesn't have to be a top tier build, but would it be terrible?
