Probably just entitlement, but I thought that was the reason for backing?

I've been a little irked by Obsidian and the media for Pillars. The press had seen a showing of the game last year before backers which we were then told we wouldn't see. Then I log onto twitch to see that press and youtubers/streamers have early access before backers again. I'm not going to go nuts about this, but it seems like Obsidian have been favouring the press over the backers for most of this project. There is no reason they can't just give this out to the backers now. Broken Age did the same thing and they had to change because of the backlash. I mean in a couple of days it'll be all forgotten when we are enjoying the game, but it's a little sad that the hype has been tainted a few times along this journey.
