The last screen shots i saw for Lost planet was in PCG i think last month and they did look good, i'll give you that, but the detail that Epic is pulling out of the UNREAL engine is astounding, and works perfectly with the atmosphere that GOW is trying to pull off...

Yes, yes, Nov 12, is the release date for the #1 most anticipated on my list ( dont give me that look NWN 2, second place is not that bad!) Any way i was wondering if anyone ELSE would take a chew toy away from a rabid Rotwiller for a chance at playing this game. Yes, i have been waiting for this game every since i have seen the jaw dropping screen shots (yes they are REAL screet shots from ACTUAL game play... I'm looking at you "Killzone" for PS3) Plus im a total Halo junkiw and i need a good FPS to get my fix till Halo 3 comes out (such an awesome trailer, check it out if you havent yet) Just figured i would let everyone know to check this game out if you have a 360 cause its gonna be an amazing game!

I agree with you on alot of the points that you made especialy about being able to say that the war is wrong without fear of retribution from a sensitive combat vet, that being said, ALOT of people oppose the war simply because they are force fed into that line of thinking by parents, friends, (cough) forum members (cough). all some people hear is "2,701 soldiers killed", "52 killed in baghdad blasts" or "Soldiers investigated in rape/slaying of 15 yr old girl" and think, "ya know, im going to protest the war today". I by no means consider my self above being told what is right and wrong, after all, i am in the ARMY, but i do like to look at both sides of an issue before i make an opinion. The things ive seen over here is enough to want to give up on humanity alone when i see a WHOLE NATION oppressed by religious extremist who would rather kill a fellow country man because he is thinking about converting his religion, or suicide bomb an all girls school because they dont feel that women have the right to learn, no, i believe what we as the soldiers are doing here is right because weather we came here under false pretenses and accusations or not, this country is in need of serious help, both to get itself back on its feet and to avoid an all out civil war..... Disclaimer: 1. I in no way intended to accuse anyone on this forum board of being close-minded or ill-informed. sub-clause 1a. Has anyone played the single player demo or Dark Messiah of Might and Magic? its awesome, if a little hard to adjust to the difficult fighting system (a first-person RPG built with the SOURCE engine) Looks great and has alot of potential, just lettign y'all know so you can check it out from my recommendation, but if like, you dont like it and think it sucks then blame it and the guy above me cause he told me it was good (oh.. man i'm so sneaky :ph34r: )

As a soldier currently engaged in the war in Iraq, FROM Iraq, i can say with certainty that most of us believe in what wer're doin over here and its proven on the smiles on Iraqi childrens faces when we open up a new school for them, or pass out soccer balls to a throng of kids who are chasing our HMMWV's down. Maybe the reason for which we invaded Iraq was clearly a mistake, but telling a soldier that being here is wrong because gas prices are getting high is a bad thing to say. I would like to think that some of my close personal friends who lost thier lives would think the same way.... Yeah, im new to this whole forum thing, but if it gets to Obsidian then, so be it. I just want to say that I was impressed by your work on KOTOR II and am waiting with great anticipation for the release of NWN 2. I realize that you have probably recieved letters of this context ad naseum, but like i stated earlier i dont think it would hurt to tell you that you have done great things adding new and exciting features to the games you have worked on. That brings me to my next opinion... I have just recently purchased an XBOX 360 while on my year long deployment to Iraq and was dissapointed when i couldnt get the backwards compatability updates for my console (this IS getting somewhere, i promise) It wasnt until then i realized that the ONLY original XBOX game i had brought with me to play on this fancy new system wouldnt work.... no, it wasnt Halo 2, or Ninja Gaiden, or even 50 Cents crappy ass game, it was KOTOR II. Then i had this beautiful vision of an Obsidian sanctioned KOTOR game on the 360 and was sad to hear that it hadnt been greenlighted (if its even in the works). I guess what im trying to say is that as an Officail Obsidian fan, one of my biggest wishes for the XBOX 360 is just that.
