  1. So Worthy Sacrifice granted by Marux Amanth should work as insta kill on any healthy friendly target or Bloodied / Near death enemy.

it would be cool if Worthy Sacrifice would work on Charmed / Dominated enemies because they are considered as friendly targets (all friendly abilities works on them - inspirations, healing from any AoE, chants etc). I think it makes sense. But it doesn't work. Is it bug or is it intended? I was hoping for cool combo.

There is lots of stuff which can cause charm like the fampyre's staff, wand which grants 10% to charm any enemy affected by casted spells, cipher's abilities and more.

  2. I killed the final vampire boss and destroyed the orb but I can't start the conversation with Copperhead.

    1. I arrrived at splintered reef and kill welcoming party.

    2. I went to the ship on the left bottom map area (the one where Copperhead go after the first meeting in the inn).

    3. I went to the inn, spoke with Copperhead and then kill vampire lady, other undeads and released the principi.

    4. I went to the area with enterence to the vault. Cleared exterior.

    5. I went to the ship to speak with Copperhead. I convinced him to make some distraction.

    6. I went to the vault interior. Clear the animancer vampire room, used first blood.

    7. I killed the second vampire and used his blood to open the door.

    8. Journal pop up then to check what is upstairs.

    8. I went upstairs.

    9. I spoke with vampire mage lord and kill him and his minions.

    10. Journal pop up then.

    11. I destroyed the orb.

    12. I went to Copperhead but I can't start the conversation. He just wishes me luck, out of dialog's window.

My journal shows two tasks to do:

    1. Go upstairs.

    2. The one note that I finished with the vampire lord and should go back to Copperhead.

    Quest can't be finished.

I tried reload and don't destroy the orb, but Copperhead still only wishes me luck with no conversation.

I reloaded save before entering vault's interior. I will try kill both vampires and only then use blood to interact with the door. I will check that after work later this day.

I want to mention that Copperhead wasn't anywhere and didn't start any distraction after I asked him to.

  3. Enchanting works as trees. Items have enchantments to pick, like enchantement A1 and A2 and then B1 and B2. If you pick A1 then A2 is excluded and can't be picked, option disappears. But the second type of enchantement still has 1 to pick from two alternatives options self excluded. And there are quality enchantement which can be pick outside of those groups of alternative enchantements. It's always possible to pick quality enchantement but it can be applied only once.

Events and generic locations don't respawn and disappear while other areas are still accesable but empty if you done the content inside.

Supplies can be stashed over limits, they won't be lost.

  4. I really like destruction caused by evoker. Empowered deleyed fireball dealling easly 360 damage is awesome. The same with Ninagauth Shadowflame hiting with 200 damage and paralyzing enemies. Even that rolling ball of magma from second level of spells can deal over 80 damage and knocka anyone prone. I still have to learn level 8-9 spells to know full potential. 4th level Minoleta's missiles can oneshot bosses like Berath's Deathguard Yesar (iirc his name), even when my level was lower than his.

I'm playing veteran and it may looks different on PotD but next time I will play evoker, it will be PotD with all DLC. Game is way too easy because I played PoE mostly on PotD and lots of solo and have ultimate done. So maybe evoker isn't such good subclass at all, but in current balance any char can faceroll through content on this difficulty level.

  5. They announced Berath's blessings like some cool bonuses for next playthrough like keeping favourite weapon from the last character or such. They said that Berath's blessing could work as some kind of special rules, to make game harder for certain benefits. It sounded interesting. Some additional challenge for benefits or for sake of challenge. Like playing Dishonored without Outsider's powers or playing Baldur's Gate without save scumming. It would be cool to have special modifiers to make game harder in trade for special bonuses.

  6. After 45h with the game I did extensive testing in lots of areas.

Most of the time game is running at 20 FPS with huge drops below 10 in any crowded areas or in places with background light's sources like fire, torches etc. Stuttering and FPS drops below 10 are common in combat.

Port Maje - about 20 FPS

    Kraken's Eye inn - below 10 FPS

    Periki Overlook abou 30 FPS

    Serpent's Crown about 25 FPS

    Other Districts 20 and below

Kahanga Palace throne room, second floor - below 10 FPS

The Holl inn - below 10 FPS

    Old City below 30 FPS

Pyramid with Oswald - 20-30 FPS, drops below 10 during final encounter

Deadlight Fort exterior - below 10 FPS

Deadlight Fort Court - below 10 FPS

    Deadlight Dungeon 20-30 FPS

Tikiwara - 20 FPS with drops below 10 if more NPC on the screen

There are places where game run better. Small areas, dungeons, digsite near Port Maje are pretty consistant with at least 30 FPS.

Graphical settings have almost no impact on the game performance. Global illumination can give me boost of 5-10 FPS most of the time, but it's still 30 and below all the time.

I tried to solve performance issue by clean installation of different GPU drivers, including latest game ready driver for NVIDIA GTX 1060. Nothing helps.

I turned off Steam overlay, NVIDIA Ansel overlay, uninstal GeForce Experience.

I OC my GPU in MSI Afterburner and play the game but performance was similar to FPS I have without OC.

I tried to fix performance issue with NVIDIA control panel but nothing helps. DSR was off all the time, so no resolution scaling.

Any settings which include VSync doesn't impact peformance of the game - both in graphical settings and control panel. Maxx framerate settings doesn't help either.

Game is installed on SSD with lots free space. Loadings are fast, contrary to performance of the game.

If it helps - PoE 1 runs smooth 60 FPS, while Tyranny has similar issue as PoE 2 in crowded places and any areas at night.

    My PC:

Intel i5-7600k @4,5GHz with OC, GTX 1060 6 GB, 16 GB RAM, SSD Goodram Iridium Pro 240 GB, MB Asrock Z270 Extreme 4, Windows 10 64 bit.

  7. have you tried updating your drivers? I solved the queen's berth lag completely for me, although I'm a bad example since my geforce 1080 shouldn't have had problems in the first place.

GTX 1060 6GB with the latest game raedy driver is pretty much unplayable in Deadlight Fort and lots of other areas with crowd or light sources. I have 5-20 fps most of the time no matter what settings and gain about 10 fps if I turn off global illumination (misc checkbox in graphical options). I'm not sure what is causing this, but I saw people with GTX 970 or 980 or even twice lower specs like old laptops with 1 GB GPU and slow CPU running this game better than my rig.

  8. I noticed this too in the same place. And many others. Entire exterior of Deadlight Fort, Tikiwara, ship battle during the prologue, Kraken's Eye Inn, The Hole, Kahanga Palace... I made some tests and I have most of the time 30 fps on minimal settings and below 10 up to 20 in crowded area. Lower framerate at night if there is fire in the background.

It's strange with i5-7600k, gtx 1060 6GB and 16 GB RAM on Win 10. I read a lot of complains how this game runs on GTX 10XX series and some people have it stable 60 and other like me run it in unenjoyable state.

It seems like your spec runs the game better.

  9. I've heard of various users having issue with the Nvidia drivers, including the newly released ones. Some of them said they got better results after using the developer drivers: https://forums.guru3d.com/threads/nvidia-397-54-vulkan-developer-beta-driver.420843/

With that said, it's a separate issue from the stutter. That nvidia issue is more about permanent low FPS rather than stuttering.

This driver is even worse for me than the newest game ready dedicated for Deadfire. It's unplayable.

I'm running with benchmark and with 397.54 I have about 30 FPS without global illumination and 5-20 with dynamic lights on. I play on i5-7600k 4,5GHz, GTX 1060 6GB, 16 GB RAM, Win 10 64 bit. All temperatures are normal. CPU, GPU usage normal. No idea what the hell is going on. I had similar issue playing Tyranny, but only in crowded places or lots of FX/background fires.

  10. I have about 30 fps most of the time without global illumination and 5-20 with all those dynamic lights. I just landed on Tikiwara and hit stable 20 fps.

My rig: i5-7600k 4,5 GHz (OC), GTX 1060 6GB, 16 GB RAM, Win 10. MB Asrock Z270 Extreme 4. Game is installed on SSD Goodram Iridium Pro.

Something is very wrong. I looked at HaasGaming channel on youtube and he is playing on gtx 980, i7-3770k 4,4 GHz, 10 GB RAM and the game runs smooth.
