  1. Oh wait, wow I asked my last question because i assumed we were getting it on PC for already purchasing it on mobile. If we have to re-buy all the content for PC that is definitely disappointing. It's a real slap to the face for us who bought it early and gave a lot of the feedback (I know I posted several bugs) I really hope that's a mistake and we won't be expected to re-buy the game. My understanding is that we won't have to buy the content; we'll have to buy the platform however. End result is the same though - we have to pay more money to access the content we already paid for on the PC instead of mobile, while people who buy the content on PC get it for free on mobile. So the question becomes whether I give an extra $25 to be able to play it on PC, or just stick with iOS. Leaning towards the latter if they don't make an accommodation for their paid "beta testers" who absorbed slow content all last year.
  2. The PC, Mac, and mobile versions of the game all share a single player account, though, so you can link your content across all your devices (though purchase of the PC version is required). So I just want to clarify. Since I paid the $25 for the Rise of the Runelords content on the mobile app, then I still need to pay $24.99 to purchase the PC version to play that content on my computer. If I had not done so, I could pay $25 for the equivalent of the free to play options of the mobile app, or $40 for all of the content including what I currently have on mobile. So people buying it on PC are basically getting what I paid $25 for on mobile for $15 (plus some goodies that are unclear whether they will carry over to the mobile experience from the PC version), AND are getting the benefit of all of the content being available at once, instead of the slow dribs and drabs that the early adopters had? I feel like this is kind of an (avoidable) slap in the face to the people who funded the development of the mobile app and its content by paying for this content back when it hadn't even been developed yet. Basically, our money was used to fund the development of the content for the PC folks (which doesn't cost much at this point aside from making some tweaks visually I'd guess), and it's the PC buyers who get the discounted rate? How about you guys consider making an unlock of the PC version for people who have bought all the content discounted so that the price is fair? Otherwise, people who handed you money a year ago on faith for a then-broken product that wasn't close to being completed (and willfully did so knowing that the content would be added "over the course of time") are paying significantly more than folks who are just hopping in now. That's not a way to encourage long-term customer relationships. OR, if you want to cite issues with the Steam model as a reason why you can't discount the software, give people who own the mobile version a code redeemable either for gold OR a discount on the next set of content - assuming you intend to release Skulls & Shackles or Wrath of the Righteous at some point.
  3. Alright, two weeks is enough time. Clearly y'all aren't going to look at it, so I am going to go back to advancing my story mode now. I hope this is an isolated bug that I just ran into, and the game save data from my game wouldn't have been of use to you.
  4. So I ran into a weird bug today, and I'm content to sit on my story progression to leave the info in my save for you guys to retrieve for a few days. Number is 2BDD9325B175DF2E. Basically, I had three open locations and found the Skinsaw Man. I attempted to close the two other locations, and although I could get the check to spawn, no dice appeared. One of them was to be closed with Int/Arc, and I had Ezren there. But while the diff was there and his +4 was there, there were no dice. I tried adding blessings, no good. I tried a few other things, nothing. I recharged the Apprentice (or whatever that card is that gives +1d4 to a non-combat Arcane check), and it put one d4 in the little special window that shows up when you are trying to add 1d4 to diff for a monster or some such. Anyway, none of the opportunities to close locations presented themselves. I tried the Vault and go back trick again and again, and it wouldn't work. Eventually, I gave up and just said screw it, and I went to attack the Skinsaw Man figuring there were only two open locations aside from that one and I had a bunch of turns left. However, this time when I went to attack him, the combat diff check was 41! Fortunately, I noticed that and was able to evade it instead (I was using Mer at the time so I could). And so he went back into the deck. I then proceeded to go through and continue on, eventually encountering the Skinsaw Man again. This time however I had already closed the other locations, and was able to do it without temp closing the locations, and I got past the scenario. Truly bizarre. The party in question was Mer, Ezren, Lini, and ... the priest. Whose name escapes me. So, take a look at it if you want, but if you pull the save please let me know. I'm holding off on playing story to give you a chance to pull the save to do your troubleshooting, but I don't want to stop playing forever.
  5. Well I don't know if you can still get it; after all this time I gave up and forfeited that scenario and restarted. Sorry if doing that makes it hard for you guys to figure it out -- I just hadn't gotten any confirmation that you were looking at it and didn't want to hold myself back on it anymore.
  6. Hi, any update on this? My game has been unplayable for several days (not including weekends). I see there are tons of other issues people are running into, and i'm starting to think this game still isn't ready to charge a whopping $25. I'm still within my Apple Refund period, and I don't know that I want to spend $25 on a game that through no fault of my own I may have to repeatedly let sit idle so you can guys can see what bugs I've discovered and then give up" on progress since it seems in reality we're all still kind of beta-testing it for you all.
  7. Thanks for the advice. I'll give it a day or so, but yeah that's more or less what I tried. I haven't done those specific steps of the vault round trip, but one of the first things I did was kill the app. I also tried using multiple devices in case it was a weird interface thing (like how now sometimes the middle card of a hand lingers in many screens on the iPhone) but that didn't do it. The only correlation I can think of is that the location power lets you evade a monster while making a check, and that PARTICULAR monster has the same (or similar?) check before you combat it. But that was not the monster I was due to fight, so the only way I see that is if for some reason the logic to perform the check to succeed at the location power inadvertently summoned the monster with the same check because of a bad call.
  8. Story mode, Lem kicked off the goblin raid barrier. Using the Nettlemaze location power Lini tried to evade the goblin raider spawned from it instead of fight (incentivized due to current daily challenge). Instead of the wis/per check to evade the goblin, now an Attic Whisperer has appeared in the Woods in front of Lem, and nothing will advance. There is the typical "blue arrow" on the right under Lem but no one else. It will not let me combat the whisperer, which shouldn't even be there at all. Or roll to do the check before. I don't know where it even came from. FYI, I'm using an iPad Mini which works mostly fine, and an iPhone 5S (the iPhone crashes less often so I play on that one more). I tried logging in on both devices and both are blocked. Killed the app and restarted, same deal. Any advice? I'm nearly done with the scenario and don't want to have to forfeit it due to the glitch.
