  1. Playing on an iPad mini (2nd gen). I started the Hook Mountain Massacre adventure. I beat the first two scenarios, and then moved to the third, "Here Comes the Flood." The first time I played, I rescued 9 Allies. The app said "Victory!" and awarded me with all of the allies as the reward. When I returned to the scenario selection screen, "Here Comes the Flood" was still selected (without the second difficulty level unlocked) as if I had not yet succeeded at it. Scenario 4, "Battle at the Dam," is still shown as locked. I played "Here Comes the Flood" again and won again. This time I did not get the rescued allies (since I had already gotten that reward), but scenario 4 is still shown as locked, and I still cannot play the second difficulty level of "Here Comes the Flood," either.
  2. Amiri has an ability to move at the end of her turn, and then can also move a character to her position (whether or not she moved). Before this last update, it seemed to work properly: I would tap the power icon during "End of Turn Abilities" phase, and then it would show the map, where I could tap her current location to stay in place, or tap another location to move. Then, it would show the available other characters, and allow me to tap one of those (or an X) to move that character to my location. Since the update, it only allows me to move somebody to my location if I move. If I try to use the ability and then stay in the same place, it does not allow me to pick a character to move to my location, but instead reverts to "End of Turn Abilities" and then allows me to tap that power icon again. If I keep tapping the power icon and then my current location to stay in place, it just lets me repeat this over and over.
  3. Okay, I'll try to take a screenshot next time it happens, but when I realized this was happening I tried several times with different encounters and kept getting the same result. Like, I would throw out a blessing, and it would add two dice but change the skill to the base skill. When I switched it back to the skill I wanted to use, it would remove a die.
  4. The "Before You Act" effects on Monsters should only apply to the active player, not every player. For instance, the Goblin Warchanter requires a Wisdom check or else you can't play weapons or Attack spells. However, when you encounter it, the app forces EVERY character to do the Wisdom check. So, for instance, a character at another location can't use their crossbow to help in this combat if they fail this Wisdom check. However, according the PACG rulebook, the "Before you act" and "After you act" effects only apply to the active character. From p 10 of the Wrath of the Righteous rulebook, under "Encountering a Card": When you encounter a card, you—and only you—can go through the following steps. No one else can perform these steps for you, though other players might be able to play cards to help you deal with the encounter's challenges. ... Apply Any Effects That Happen Before You Act. If any powers on the card you're encountering happen before you act, they take effect at this time. This seems to imply that those effects only apply to you, not to every player who wants to play a card on that check.
  5. I had a related question about blessings, but it's the opposite. My understanding (from playing the physical game) is that if you play a blessing that boosts a core stat, then it should also boost skills based on those. So if you're doing a Ranged combat check and your Ranged ability is based on Dexterity (as it is usually), then it still counts as a Dexterity check. So if Merisiel is shooting a monster with a crossbow (Dexterity—Ranged) and somebody plays a Blessing of Erastil (add 2 dice to a combat Dexterity check), then you should get to add 2 of Merisiel's Dexterity dice, right? It seems like in the app, it only adds 1 die instead to Ranged. Or a better example may be using Amiri's Melee skill. If I play a Blessing of Gorum (2 dice to a Combat Strength Check), I'll get 2 dice if I'm fighting using Strength, but only 1 die if I'm using Melee. Is that intentional?
  6. This may not be a bug, but is perhaps more of a UI request. During "Start of Turn" actions (either at a particular location or for Lem's card-swapping ability), you can't use the map button to look around at the various locations. Since I'm used to the physical game, I like knowing where all the characters are and looking at their location effects—sometimes this can come in handy if I expect I may need a particular spell or blessing in hand during this upcoming round. I'm not sure why the map button isn't visible/active during Start of Turn. Thanks! (Using an iPad Mini 2, iOS 9.3.1)
